James Lockwood's words had not yet finished when Caden Lockwood interrupted him, saying in a deep voice, "Let me say it."
James' brow furrowed tightly. He had already made things so clear, just short of saying Eleanor Keaton's name. The Keaton Family only had Eleanor as their heiress. He didn't believe that Caden could have any other tricks up his sleeve.
However, Caden never played by the rules, so James still had to be cautious.
"Don't joke about your own future," James warned, "Eleanor is actually a great kid."
After much thought and discussing with the Keaton Family, they believed that having Caden marry Eleanor was the best choice.
James would not let anything happen that was out of his control.
Caden's lips curved into a very faint smile. He stepped forward, glanced at the crowd, and then his gaze fell in the direction where Eleanor stood, saying in a deep voice, "Madam, come to my side."
