"My fault."
Leo Grant pulled Holly Sawyer into his arms, holding her tightly, his voice soft.
Making the young girl cry was his fault.
"Not at all."
Holly shook her head.
Leo was too good to her, which moved her to tears, with no other meaning.
"I want to go take a look."
Holly walked to the Christmas tree, observing the things hanging on it, a deep smile on her lips.
Everything hanging on the tree were things she liked, including little snacks and small plush toys, which really lifted her spirits.
Leo had really put a lot of thought into it.
"Suddenly, I feel like my surprise for you isn't enough."
Holly turned her head, looking at Leo, and slowly spoke.
Leo had given her so much, while she had given him so little.
Love is mutual, and though there was a lot of emotion in receiving so much from Leo, she also thought about giving back.
"I don't like any surprises; having you by my side is the biggest surprise I could ever receive."
