Farah Garner played the recording, and her own voice came out first.
"Bella Acker, you deliberately fell to frame me just now, didn't you?"
The sound was recorded very clearly. Farah impatiently fast-forwarded it, and the recording's progress bar was moved to the end, where only Bella's voice could be heard saying, "I don't have that kind of power either," and then there was a period of silence with nothing recorded.
"That's it?" Farah couldn't believe it and fiddled with it a couple more times, realizing that the last thing Bella said softly wasn't recorded, "Damn it! What a piece of junk!"
Frustrated, Farah smashed her phone. She had never suffered such a loss at someone's hands before, and she couldn't stand it!
Bella returned just as Sharon Cheney had finished a scene and returned to the resting area, "I saw Farah went to the bathroom too. Did you two run into each other again?"
"Yeah." Bella nodded.
