Luna Sutton took another bite of the roast, thinking to herself that, to be fair, the dog man's cooking wasn't bad at all. It was fragrant and crispy, tender on the inside, and particularly delicious.
Upon hearing his words, she retorted discontentedly, "I'm just curious, alright? Someone's attitude changed so fast; could it be that after a nap, you suddenly found your conscience, realized how terribly you treated me before, and now you're trying to make up for it?"
She said this while glancing at Corbin, deliberately putting on a deep-thinking expression, as if she was seriously considering the question.
Corbin was so angered by her words that he nearly coughed up blood. This chubby woman sure knows how to poke an open wound, making it sound like he's some sort of lustful creep.
