Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Five Beast Husbands at the Start

After Luna Sutton was blown to death in the apocalypse, she barely opened her eyes to find herself inside a cave, surrounded by primitive sights.

"What's going on? Where is this?"

Her mind cleared a bit, and her demeanor turned cautious.

Soon, she saw a strikingly handsome man standing in front of her,

with unusual silver eyes, a face like a sculpture, exquisite features, broad shoulders, and a slim waist.

His skin was a healthy wheat color, wrapped in animal hide at the waist, with long, powerful legs and a strong build, exuding savage strength.

He was so unbelievably handsome, it was hard to keep one's legs together.

"Animal hide?"

Her gaze froze on the man's waist. Is this the ancient era?

Before she could continue pondering.

An icy, disdainful voice of a man echoed by her ear.

"Luna Sutton, how dare you give me the aphrodisiac fruit, thinking I wouldn't dare touch you?"

The man's gaze was gloomy, full of brutality, and he seemed eager to tear her apart.

Luna Sutton frowned, completely unable to understand what the man was saying.

Due to her ignorance of the cause, she didn't dare speak carelessly.

Corbin Crowley saw her silence, assumed she acquiesced, and his gaze grew increasingly hostile.

He reached out to grip her chin harshly, making her wince with pain: "Since you want it so badly, I'll grant your wish."

With those words, he forcefully threw her aside.

Luna Sutton fell onto a stone bed, hard and unyielding, causing her significant pain.

The fury within her was ignited, regardless of who the man was, she started cursing: "What aphrodisiac fruit? I have no idea what you're blabbering about. Mad dog, isn't it, biting any random person..."

"Heh... I'm a mad dog? Dare to act but not to admit? Besides you, who else would be this shameless?"

Corbin Crowley let out a short, derisive laugh, his gaze full of ridicule.

The aphrodisiac fruit in his system had already taken effect, making him extremely uncomfortable, as if he were about to explode.

He looked up at Luna Sutton with disgust at her ugly and repulsive face, disdain evident in his eyes.

Yet, the drug in his system forced him to approach her, even as the revulsion nearly made him gag.

Luna Sutton saw the man press toward her and, combining his earlier words, instantly understood his intentions.

Panic surged within her, and in desperation, she kicked fiercely.

Direct hit to a crucial spot.

"Ah, Luna Sutton, you're courting death..."

Corbin Crowley stared at her in disbelief, eyes dark and malevolent, bending over, forehead veins throbbing, his expression terrifying.

For a moment, he almost considered transforming into his true form and biting her to death.

Yet, recalling something, he refrained, showing unprecedented rage.

Sick, isn't it?

She was the one who drugged him?

Moreover, she's struggling to resist and even kicking him...

Absolutely despicable...

Luna Sutton realized she had kicked a sensitive area, unsure if it was ruined, and nervously smiled.

But no time to think much, she quickly scrambled to her feet and ran.

Inside the cave, Corbin Crowley roared in a fury: "Luna Sutton, you just wait..."

The sound was deafening.

Luna Sutton, of course, heard it, trembled all over, and ran even faster.

Only after she had run far away from the cave did she dare to stop.

She patted her chest, showing a face of lingering fear.

Goodness, that was terrifying, nearly lost her purity, and it would have been to a primitive man...

Though she was unsure where this place was, she felt it must be ancient times.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be anyone wearing animal hide.

Suddenly, her head throbbed, followed by a flood of memories that didn't belong to her pouring into her mind.

After viewing the memories, she felt a dreadful sensation, like eating shit, her face extremely tense.

This was from a beast-world romance game she once knew, where the original character was an ugly, lazy failure.

The original protagonist was Chloe Callahan, a player who entered this game and was picked up by the male lead No. 1 without knowing why.

The male lead No. 1 was the man from the cave, named Corbin Crowley, the most handsome and powerful, and one of the Beast Husbands.

The original character had four other Beast Husbands, all top-tier Beastman of the tribe.

They were all forcefully paired by the leader father of the original character.

Such reluctant marriages naturally ended in chaos; the Beast Husbands didn't want to touch the original character, avoiding her as if she were the plague.

There was a plot where the original character attempted to sleep with Corbin Crowley by secretly adding aphrodisiac juice to his food.

Luna Sutton assumed the cave incident was that very plot.

Just didn't know how the original character died, and she conveniently transmigrated.

Thinking of this, she felt uneasy all over.

When the female protagonist Chloe Callahan is brought back to the tribe by Corbin Crowley, the original character's role as a useless tool shines.

Between Chloe Callahan and male leads No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, she becomes prominent.

Until Chloe Callahan and these male leads are deeply in love, the original character fades out of the storyline.

Luna Sutton rubbed her brow in distress, what kind of nonsense is this.

She barely survived for so long in the apocalypse, only to end up in this primitive world. But it seemed considerably peaceful, more stable than the apocalypse, she believed she could prosper.

She decided not to involve herself with any of the male leads, let them have their sweet romances with Chloe.

She refused to be a tool.

Moreover, she planned to find an opportunity to sever mate relations with the original character's five Beast Husbands, wouldn't being independent be better? What use are men?

Standing up, she patted away the dust on her body, surveying the surroundings.

It was the hottest time of the day, the sun fiercely blazing in the sky.

Ancient trees towered around her, entwined by old vines, various unknown wildflowers blooming profusely, the air filled with the fragrance of soil and the scent of vegetation.

Occasional beast roars and bird songs created an ancient melody, mysterious and distant.

Several females were drying animal hides, upon seeing her, whispered among themselves, casting veiled looks, eyes disdainful and mocking.

She didn't care; these females either fancied Corbin Crowley or her other Beast Husbands.

Luna Sutton didn't need to hear to know they were gossiping about her.

Merely discussing how shameless she was, wanting to have relations with her Beast Husbands, resorting to drugging.

She wanted to find a place to test whether her supernatural powers had traveled with her.

She hadn't walked far when she spotted an enormous black snake, its tail coiled around a huge prey, dragging it back, its icy eyes daunting but distinctly humane.

Wait a second, a giant snake?

She gazed at it, only one snake existed in The Wolf Tribe, which was male lead No. 2, Rhys Blackwood, who years ago was hunted by The Serpent Tribe for unknown reasons.

Rhys Blackwood, while immensely powerful, couldn't withstand the entire Serpent Tribe's onslaught, nearly dying before he was rescued by the original character's father while hunting.

The original character's father saved Rhys Blackwood from The Serpent Tribe's grasp, bringing him back to the tribe, further having the witch doctor heal him.

After healing, Rhys Blackwood joined The Wolf Tribe, becoming a member.

Owing a favor to the original character's father, he begrudgingly agreed to marry the original character.

The giant snake saw her, eyes flickering, a human-like disdain flashing beneath them, before transforming into a tall man and dragging the prey away.

Luna Sutton was stunned, watching the humanoid figure depart, her expression complicated.

Was this Rhys Blackwood?

The second male lead, extremely enigmatic throughout the game?
