Chapter 7 -  The Saga At Bar

Austin Dre was comfortably seated at his table while arguing with the guest of honor of the gathering tonight.

On the other side of the room. Jayden Brii was drinking with his buddies. His mood was dark. After leaving Shay City, Sam holds a meeting with all the family members of his small family.

All the issues were resolved, or at least that was what he thought.

Sally apologized to Ama for neglecting her. Ama finally forgave her, but she was still doubtful.

From that day, Sally became more reasonable. She even grew closer to her husband. Sam really liked this version of his wife. He was truly a happily married man.

Sally had thought of her position and her state all the time when they were flying to Quezon City. She realized that those material possessions had made her arrogant and forget her roots. So from that day she really turned a leaf.

Although she still loved her son, she finally decided to stop encouraging his behavior and let him live his life freely.

She didn't help him settle his problems anymore.

Jayden noticed his mother's indifference and knew that this was all his father's fault.

If he had stood up for them at the family gathering, his mother wouldn't have been shaken like me that such that she would hesitate to lend him help unlike before.

The hatred he felt for that man slowly intensified with time.

His monthly allowance had greatly depreciated and so did his spending limit.

After he arrived in Quezon City and had that dreaded meeting, he was feeling so depressed and bad at the same time, so he called up some of his friends.

The guy told him of the upcoming performance by Lady Fire. He soon left the house and drove with his friends to the club.

Now they all sat there drinking.

At that time, they noticed the commotion at the other side of the room. Jayden Brii felt too bored to get involved, so one of the guys walked to the scene.

Austin Dre's laugh had just stopped.

The guy felt so angered that he had to take some revenge not to appear weak. So, he yelled again, "You punk, I will teach you a lesson today." The guy said as he prepared to attack Austin Dre.

Lee frowned and prepared to teach this guy a lesson.

At that time, a voice asked, "What is going on here?" Everyone turned and when they saw who, they all greeted them respectfully. "Mr. King,".

Mr. King was the owner of the Royal Sailors. When he saw the commotion, he hurried to the place to settle it as fast as possible. There were so many important guests that this event couldn't be unsuccessful no matter what.

When he noticed the lady, he smiled and then asked respectfully, "Lady Fire, what is going on."

"Mr. King, it's nothing serious, it's just this man who wants me to sit at his table," she explained.

Mr. King frowned and then asked, "Sir, we have rules to be followed here. Please apologize to The Lady and everything will be okay."

Austin Dre started laughing eerily again. Lady Fire's hearts thumped louder.

"Sir, you are being disrespectful, please just leave." Mr.

King said slowly losing patience.

Austin Dre stopped laughing and said, "Lady Fire, why don't you give me the explanation I deserve, and I will leave?"

"What explanation, the lady never explains herself to anyone." The man who Austin Dre had angered at first shouted angrily.

"Mister, I advise you to mind your own business or else..."

"Don't you threaten my customers, please get out of here or else I will call security," Mr. King warned.

"Hahaha" Austin Dre laughed again.

At that time, the guy who had come to see the commotion went back to Jayden's table. He explained the situation to the group.

Jayden Brii's anger rose to another level. Lady Fire had been his lifelong crush. He hoped to marry her one day and, if not, he would surely find a chance to make out with her. He was not just a normal fan. He had a deep infatuation with this mysterious woman.

He banged the table and stood before rushing towards the commotion area.

He pushed through the crowd and was soon standing at the center of the crowd. As he pushed through, the individuals would grunt, but as they raised their eyes to confront this punk, they would lower their heads down.

Of course, who didn't know the heir of the Brii family, Jayden Brii?

When Mr. King saw him, he bowed respectfully and spoke.

"Mr. Brii,"

Everyone stopped what they were doing and glanced at him.

When Jayden Brii's gaze fell on Lady Fire. He smiled broadly and said, "Miss, are you okay?"

Her eyes squinted and one with a discerning eye would realize that she was really smiling.

"Mr. Brii, it is not such a big deal," she sounded anxious.

Jayden smiled at her and asked the guy beside him. This was the same guy Austin Dre had angered countless times before. The man, seeing an opportunity to vent his anger, explained to him everything in detail, adding some salt to make the situation better.

After Jayden heard and understood what was going on, he frowned and asked, "Who are you?"

There was no answer. Feeling agitated, he asked again, "Hey punk, I am talking to you, who tha fuck are you?"

Then, as usual, the eerie laugh sounded and once more, the lady's breath intensified.

Jayden Brii felt like this kid was looking down on him. After going through that kind of torment in his family, someone really had to find a suitable way to vent.

He roared, "How dare you laugh at. Look at me when I am talking to you,"

All this time, Austin Dre had never turned around, even when Mr. King came and neither did, he react when Jayden Brii came.

"I wasn't speaking to you, fuck off." Said Austin Dre.

"What did you say? You are courting death,"

Roared Jayden Brii angrily as he advanced closer to Austin Dre, who just sat there comfortably sipping his beer.
