In the Water Pool Dragon Nest, Udi took the wooden box from the spatial bag and retrieved the piece of beast hide that emitted a faint magical light.
This piece of beast hide is the carrier for the spell Zero-Ring Illusion: Secret Rune.
Though among spells it's the lowest tier illusion, some spells cannot be judged solely by their level but by their effects and function.
When used well, even a zero-ring illusion can yield better results than a five or six-ring spell.
And Secret Rune is just such a special spell.

Although this spell can easily be cracked by a caster whose magical mastery surpasses its own, it remains an extremely useful spell.
It's a spell that many mages frequently use even after reaching legendary status.
Though Udi plans to specialize in water magic, such useful spells must be learned if possible.
