Chapter 6: When the TVA Comes Knocking

Valkyrie's Apartment

With a resounding smack, my armoured hand met with soft, yet toned chocolate Asgardian ass.

The resulting jiggle of Valkyrie's smooth ass cheek was accompanied by a sudden suction from her mouth around my shaft as well as a muffled squeal as she came yet again. There was a soft pitter-patter as the puddle of clear liquid in between her spread thighs grew slightly larger from the sudden addition of fresh nectar.

She came so easily now.

And it was likely from the two hours of feverish fucking and spanks that had left her sore and extremely sensitive, I'd wager.

"Keep sucking, Valk." I offhandedly ordered Valkyrie as I brainstormed my general plan on conquering the Marvel Cinematic Universe on my Company phone.

The device was hardened against even the powers of goddesses of technologies- if there was a safe place to store my ideas that would be it.

Regardless, Valkyrie was thoroughly mine now. The magical tattoo of my sigil, a cross between a glaring dragon's skull and the fanged skull of Molag Bal, was stamped just above her feminine mound; and it ensured that her loyalty, her affection, and her sexual attraction was mine and mine alone.

The Company was behind such a marvellous union of magic and technology and it was stress-tested on gods and goddesses.

A strong enough will could resist orders that were vehemently against their nature, but outright rebellion was astronomically difficult to resist.

Valkyrie wasn't one for inhibitions though. Over a thousand years of drunkenly enslaving people to earn even more drinking money had left her all too eager for some wild sex- anything to escape her PTSD of being the sole surviving valkyrie that served Odin.

Another issue for another time.

Because as much as I want to just pour an entire day away just enjoying my first Captured waifu. I need to prepare for the imminent arrival of rival Company Contractors who want my blood. Worse still, I had only a week before that rival appeared. The sooner we moved, the greater our advantage.

Violence and survival first, sex can come later.

Reluctantly, I pulled Valkyrie's mouth off my cock- tugging on her hair to signal her to stop her cleanup fellatio.

"Take a shower, and suit up in the best armour you have." I told her as she swallowed her prize that she had gathered- our combined juices swishing in her mouth, "We have things that need to be done."

"Ugh, right now? Really? I'm still sore." She whined poutine as she shakily stood up. She gave a small kiss to the cheek of my helm. "No regrets though."

"Just get moving." I gave her juicy ass one last slap, before she headed towards the bathroom to get ready- giving me a show of her large chocolate rear jiggling and swaying as she walked to the bathroom.

And as I was reattaching my codpiece, a small light beside the front door lit up. Despite being unfamiliar with the xeno tech, a niggling feeling came over me though; and it was enough to make me paranoid.

Eyeing the front door distrustfully, I cast [Detect Life]- a glowing red orb floating between my outstretched hands. It was a Skyrim spell that did as the name described- highlighting every living thing in range of the spell with a blue mist that I- and only I- could see through walls, through energy shields, and through cloaking devices. Very few beings could be hidden from [Detect Life].

But one of the most useful features of the spell was that hostile beings were highlighted with a red cloud instead.

And somehow there was a whole congo line of red clouds in the corridor just outside the apartment door. There was even one hacking the door lock! Their red-outlined forms were lined up neatly and hugging the wall like a SWAT team about to breach the room.

They also had friends as well- I could see more squads of red clouds on the ground floor of the building as well as on the nearby skyscraper.

Whoever was going after me… They were going to be in for a bad surprise.

Valkyrie was still in the shower, but she should be fine if I draw their attention away.

I grinned with a vicious smile as I pulled out the Mace of Molag Bal from my inventory, and downed a potion of Stamina just in case. After thoroughly claiming Valkyrie in every one of her holes, there's nothing like a bit of violence to top it off.

And just as they finished hacking the door and it slid open with a hiss, I stepped through it- grinning as I surveyed the horrified face of my latest victims who I recognized immediately. It's a good thing I bought [Paradox Defense] and [Destiny Defense], but they didn't know that.

I gave a vicious bloodthirsty grin underneath my dragonbone helmet.

I wonder if my victims loved surprises.

x-X-x

A few hours ago… relatively

Sylvie (formerly Loki) Laufeydottir, adopted daughter of Odin and time-traveling fugitive, loved surprises.

...but only when she was the one springing them. Certainly not like this mess that she found herself in.

Still, Sylvie allowed herself a small smug smile as she lined up with the rest of TVA Minutemen at an empty warehouse in an alien world.

It was the most of the Time Variance Authority's black-uniformed enforcers she had ever seen gathered in one place. It was like a military parade: two entire platoons of TVA Minutemen in their dozens had gathered here with her.

So many were they that none of the Minutemen even realised that they had one extra 'Minuteman' in their ranks.

Her shoulder length blonde flowing out from her black metal helmet, her blue-green eyes scanning the room, the small smile that she wore while everyone was dour like it was someone's funeral. It was a testament to her enemies' idiocy that none of them had recognised her as an imposter here.

However, that smug smile that she wore only lasted until one of their number- clad in the same armoured black uniform as they all were, sans the helmet- climbed on top of a metal container that overlooked their neatly lined formation.

"Minutemen…" The woman standing atop the metal container addressed them in an edged voice. Hands clasped behind her back, she stood like a dictator addressing her sheep. This was the acting leader of operations for the TVA, Sylvie realised…

...and she hated her with every fibre of her being.

Sylvie's blue-green eyes narrowed as she tried to keep the ugly sneer from her face.

Curly black hair in a loose ponytail, dark-skin, brown eyes filled with equal parts apathy and domineering. It may already have been more than a decade, but Sylvie still recognized this person.

And she felt her blood boil over with rage- This was the same person who kidnapped her from her home in Asgard and destroyed her timeline. And to top it off, it looks like the bitch even got a promotion too.

Sylvie gripped her baton tightly in her clenched fist- her knuckles were likely chalk white under the black armoured gloves. She didn't even know this bitch's name and she hated her with the intensity to match the dwarves' forge star of Nidavellir.

"...it is confirmed- any attempt to return to or contact TVA HQ has somehow been interdicted: We're on our own now. " The great bitch continued in a determined tone of voice, "Our only hope of contacting or even returning home is to complete the mission entrusted to us by the Timekeepers themselves: We must prune the Zeta-level Variant that has caused this disturbance, and restore the Sacred Timeline to what the Timekeepers had intended it to be."

That tidbit of information gave Sylvie pause- seeing as she hadn't exactly been briefed about it.

After all, barely three hours ago, it had just been another normal day in the life of Sylvie Laufeydottir: on the run from and ambushing the same TVA goons that she was now disguised as.

It had been the 1850's in Oklahoma, well past midnight in the meadow where she had set her ambush. She had prepared this unpleasant surprise-murdering for the arrogant and hilariously dim-witted servants of the TVA.

But imagine her own surprise when the Minutemen who were about to walk into her ambush were suddenly ordered to abandon their pursuit of her.

She had listened in as the lead Minuteman and their entire squad who were hunting her was suddenly reassigned for another operation.

'A Zeta-class Nexus Event.' Sylvie had heard one of them say.

'The mother of all Nexus Events.' She heard another say in equal parts dread and awe.

At the second one, Sylvie felt a tad insulted by- she liked to think that she was the biggest threat to their operations.

And it irked her to be taken so lightly. She sprang her ambush on them of course- catching all but one of them in her fiery oil trap. And as they burned alive, Sylvie couldn't help but think that it did indeed smell like pork.

Fortunately, the last one was not caught in the same trap as her squadmates. So Sylvie was able to simply strangle her to death and claim her uniform as her own as well as the rest of her equipment.

Using the rest of the looted equipment, Sylvie opened a Time Door to the location of that 'Zeta-class Nexus Event' all while wondering if she could turn it to her advantage somehow.

One stumbling into the largest gathering of her enemies she had ever seen, and here she was now: Face-to-face with the person who ruined her life and surrounded by more TVA Minutemen than she had ever seen before.

She wanted to Prune that bitch so badly- to kill her using the same temporal weaponry that they had used to erase so many other people from the timeline.

But Sylvie couldn't: She was forced to bid her time.

Because, if she was found out, she did not think that she could escape fast enough before they swept her under the sheer number of them. Her blue-green eyes glanced all around her as a cold bead of sweat ran down the side of her face.

"My name Ravonna Renslayer, and on my authority as Judge of the Time Variance Authority, I will be the commanding officer for this operation. Look to the men and women who stand beside you. Because from here on out, your lives are in their hands- just as their lives are in yours."

'Ravonna Renslayer? Good.' Sylvie thought to herself. 'I now have a name to go with the face that I want to beat black and blue.'

She ran her blue-green eyes up and down Ravonna- making certain to memorize her body shape and the locations of any backup weapons she might have- just in case she disguised herself out of that TVA uniform. That zipped up hat bag hanging off Ravonna's belt was definitely not standard issue for TVA personnel.

Sylvie made a mental note to watch out for whatever tool she had hidden in there.

"Men and women of the TVA," Ravonna addressed them with an earnest tone, "I want to see all of you come back to the TVA HQ alive after this operation."

And Slyvie couldn't help but smile at that, because that's the exact opposite of what she's going to try and achieve: She was going to make sure that every last TVA agent here will die on this miserable rock.

"Move out!" The Judge ordered them to do so as she herself jogged off the makeshift platform to join one of the other squads.

Especially Ravonna- Sylvie was going to ensure that she dies here.
