Zane White stammered, "I really underestimated you."
Claire Prescott smiled, sincerely saying, "I've been with him for six months now, and he's been very good to me. It's not like someone else's words can easily change my opinion of him. Even if what you're saying is true, in my eyes, it's not such a big problem."
Suddenly.
Zane was overwhelmed by her display of affection, "I was just joking, don't take it to heart."
"Hmm, I know."
Claire scooped some cake to eat, when suddenly she overheard someone mention:
"Where's Milton Rivers?"
"I just saw his father. He probably won't be coming tonight."

Claire felt several gazes fall on her, and she looked up to meet them.
She still remembered vividly the moment when she splashed water on someone for no reason, and they could see that she was standing up for her friend Zara Leighton.
