⸻
EXT. MIAMI SUBURBAN STREET – SUNSET
Wide establishing shot: moving truck rattles down quiet, palm-lined streets. Sun sets low, casting golden-orange light across the neighborhood. Dust swirls along asphalt. Eerie silence hints at unease.
The SINKAF FAMILY exits the truck: LUCA (40s, strong, practical), KAREN (38, cheerful, protective), GRANDMA LUCA (65, wise, frail but sharp), BRIAR (16, oldest son, observant), TWIN BROTHERS (12), TAYA (10, youngest, sassy).
KAREN
(cheerful, clapping hands)
Come on, kids! Let's get everything inside. A fresh start!
TWIN #1
Mom… do we have to carry all these boxes?
BRIAR
Yeah, yeah… don't make it sound like a chore.
TAYA rolls eyes, muttering.
TAYA
Ugh… I swear, if this is like the old house…
Briar pauses, kneels, eyes focused on a small patch of soil near the garden. The ground subtly shifts, as if something writhes underground. He frowns, shakes it off.
CAMERA ANGLE: Low-angle close-up on soil, slow zoom in as shadows ripple. Tense music creeps in.
GRANDMA LUCA
(voice slightly trembling)
Don't let your eyes wander, Briar… some things are better left unseen.
⸻
INT. SINKAF HOUSE – NIGHT
Boxes scattered. Family unpacks. TV static hums faintly in background.
GRANDMA LUCA
(frowning, serious)
Remember the stories… when the moon is full, the light dies, the shadows move… things you thought were gone… they rise again.
BRIAR
Grandma… not tonight, please.
Close-up: Briar's eyes widen as faint shadows creep across the floor. Camera pans to outside window—subtle movement under the grass, spikes barely visible.
SFX: Low rumble, faint screeching from underground.
KAREN
(grinning, unaware)
Focus on unpacking. Ghost stories don't belong here.
⸻
EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD – DAY
Briar explores nearby streets. Groups of kids play basketball. Camera pans to 13 teenagers laughing and joking. Among them: TAYA (16, confident, leader).
BRIAR
(approaching, cautiously)
Hi… I'm Briar. Just moved in.
TAYA
(smirking)
New kid? Come on, we'll show you around.
Montage sequence: teens show Briar around school, local shops, alley shortcuts. Laughter. Bonds forming. Retro 1980s aesthetic: lockers, chalkboards, boombox on shoulder. Synth music in background.
⸻
EXT. NEIGHBORHOOD STREET – NIGHT
Teens walk home. Streetlights flicker. Old man emerges from shadows, leaning on cane, ragged coat.
OLD MAN
(low, gravelly)
Never come out at night… if the moon is full, your humanity will be judged. Creatures of hell rise… and you… you won't survive.
TEEN #1
(rolling eyes)
Yeah, right. Legends.
Suddenly, ground trembles; a shadow streaks underground. Teen vanishes. Camera shakes; POV from disappearing teen's perspective: dark tunnel, faint glowing eyes of death crawler. Sobbing echoes.
CAMERA: Handheld, shaky POV. Quick cuts, jump scares.
BRIAR
(yelling)
Did you see that?!
Others scream. Panic ensues.
⸻

⸻
EXT. PARK – NIGHT
TAYA (younger sister) is locked outside by brothers. She stomps toward park, yelling.
TAYA
I want pizza! You guys are mean!
Shadows surge. Death crawlers rise, spiky heads and skinless bodies. TAYA frozen in fear. Radiation pulses through chest; spikes erupt from heart. She screams, dragged underground.
GRANDMA LUCA (V.O.)
Her blood… it's the blood of the old war. The death crawlers chose her. She will become queen.
CAMERA: Slow-motion transformation. Close-ups on spikes, black energy spreading. Dissonant string music.
⸻
EXT. HIGHWAY / GAS STATION – NIGHT
Teens flee on truck. Death crawlers chase. Wide-angle shot: swerving vehicles, truck leaps over debris. Metal pipe launched at gas station. Explosion engulfs vehicles. Fire lights night sky.
SURVIVOR TEEN
Only seven of us made it…
Close-ups: terrified faces, explosions reflected in eyes.
⸻
INT. HIGH SCHOOL – NIGHT
Survivors barricade in hallways. Death crawlers smash through walls. Teens grab improvised weapons.
BRIAR
We can't stop them… we have to run!
Briar sees friend trapped underground. Dramatic leap; his energy glows. Wide shot: hallways explode as his powers erupt. Two teens die; five survive.
POLICE (O.S.)
Freeze! Hands up!
Camera: pan across devastated school. News broadcasts mislabel survivors as culprits.
NEWS ANCHOR (V.O.)
Reports of school explosion… five surviving teenagers… suspects of destruction…
⸻
ACT 3: APOCALYPSE & GLOBAL THREAT (1:15–2:00)
⸻

BRIAR
We have to find her… stop my sister!

⸻
EXT. WORLD MONTAGE – NIGHT / DAWN
Quick cuts: New York, Tokyo, Paris. Death crawlers emerge, multiple species. Billions die. Humanity struggles. Governments collapse.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
The creatures rose from every corner of Earth. No army, no country could stand. In days… billions fell. Humanity trembled beneath shadows of its own destruction.
⸻
EXT. CLIFFSIDE OVERLOOK – NIGHT
Briar and remaining teens watch apocalypse. Fires, smoke, distant cries. Briar clenches fists.
BRIAR
We fight… or we die. But I won't let her destroy everything.
Camera pans up: full moon. Fade out. End credits roll over destruction and surviving teens. Tease sequel: global threat remains.
This was originally supposed to be a movie script, but I decided to make it into a novel with 10 chapters so this is the original script and the second script will come out right after this one but This script it's a little different from the novel because I changed a little part lots of parts so I can make it into a novel
