The corners of his mouth curled into a mischievous smile, Evan Saint teased ambiguously, "Oh? Turns out your mind is full of such thoughts, no wonder you're getting dumber."
"You're the one thinking about it!" Sparkle glared wide-eyed, not expecting that shameless man would shift the blame onto her.
The amusement in his eyes deepened, Evan called again, "Come here."
"No."
Slightly squinting his eyes, Evan threatened softly, "Do you prefer chatting down there?"
Threatening her again!
Sparkle walked over, her face full of tears.
Pulling her onto his lap, encircling her in his arms, Evan lazily said, "Stella Lancaster is different from Aaron Lawson and Linda Hancock. She can run such a big company, she must have her methods. Overconfidence will only lead to loss."
"I'm not blindly confident. I also know she and Linda aren't on the same level, but suddenly bringing an unfamiliar assistant by my side will only make her suspicious."
She had analyzed it seriously too.
