It seemed that no one in the whole yard knew that Marcus Morgan had returned. He stood outside her yard, not knowing if she had noticed him.
"Marcus?" Although she was already certain that this back was Marcus, Ariana Thorne still called out his name.
He heard someone calling him from behind and then turned around.
He had darkened and aged a lot, with some gray hair in his cropped hair. The once robust-looking man now truly appeared to be almost fifty.
"You..." He was so different from the spirited image in Ariana's memory, making him feel unfamiliar to her.
But unfamiliarity couldn't change the fact that he was her husband. Ariana Thorne approached him and asked with a smile, "Why didn't you bring any luggage?"
When he left, he took a suitcase, so why did he return without bringing anything?
Marcus smiled slightly, "I went home once. Everything is at home."
Meaning, he had gone home and found they weren't there, so he ran over to Michelle Morgan's place.
