"Cut it out. Kill him and you'll be the one paying the price. Even if you think it's worth it, I'd be embarrassed for you," Mable snapped at Kolton.
Kolton let out a dismissive snort, standing his ground. "And so what if I do? He hurt Jenifer. Anyone who hurts her gets what they deserve."
I could see Kolton had always been my strongest defender, but I didn't want him getting in trouble on my account.
"Kolton, I appreciate you looking out for me, but dying over a piece of trash like Reed just isn't worth it," I told him.
My words finally made Kolton rein himself in.
"Jenifer, after you divorce him, just cut all ties completely," Natalia said with conviction. "You've already given him everything, and honestly, he doesn't deserve it.
"About that kid, if he ever gets his act together, maybe you can still be in his life. If he doesn't, well, you've done all you can."
