Jenifer's POV
"You witch, fabricating evidence just to destroy Lorelei? You don't deserve to exist - not even a thousand deaths would be enough," the man screamed.
A throbbing headache started building as I stared at Lorelei's deranged admirer. I had no energy left to waste on arguing with him, so I turned to my team instead.
"Contact the authorities. Let them deal with this mess."
Elise stood nearby, watching blood continuously seep from my shoulder, her face flushed with rage.
"Ms. Zach, I need to get you to the hospital for proper treatment. I'll drive you back afterward," Elise said.
I caught the concern in Elise's expression and gave her a nod.
"Alright. You're driving," I told her.
The two of us started walking toward the parking area.
Despite multiple people restraining him, the man continued his verbal assault. "Jenifer, don't you dare walk away from me, you witch. Who gave you permission to leave?" he bellowed. "Stop, Jenifer!"
