Furthermore, they declared that this feat—the creation of a brand-new race and a brand-new Path—was completed under the leadership of an individual named Baiming.
The Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC) was initially bewildered. However, after repeated confirmations with Madam Herta, they pulled their originally scheduled headlines that same day. They placed Herta's declaration, word for word, at the very top of every news column.
Following Madam Herta's explicit demands, the name Baiming was placed ahead of both Herta and Ruan Mei.
Before this news broke, the cosmos was abuzz with speculation. On popular forums, topics regarding the mystery of the Giants of Light's origin remained at the top of the charts:
'Madam Herta must be the most powerful one here!'
'Ruan Mei's life-form research is well-deserved of the credit.'
'Maybe Screwllum broke the boundaries of inorganic life?'
But after the IPC news release:
'Holy crap! Who the hell is this Baiming?'
Similar comments flooded the entire Interastral Network. People discussed it feverishly, asking everyone they knew who this Baiming was. To not only be part of such a group but to have their name listed before Herta and Ruan Mei... what kind of person had that much clout?
And even more oddly, the IPC's news department couldn't even find a photo of the person. Talk about a failure of a news department.
Diamond, who had already led a fleet to exert pressure on the borders, looked at the latest report. While feeling a sense of subtlety, he also became intensely curious about this Baiming.
A new member of the Genius Society? If so, why didn't they high-profilely declare themselves as #84? If not, how on earth did they rank ahead of Herta and Ruan Mei?
Diamond's keen intuition as an investor told him that this existence called Baiming was likely the key catalyst for the descent of the Giants of Light. It was a pity he was currently tied down by his duties. Otherwise, he would certainly find a way to visit Madam Herta and attempt to make contact with this talent.

Creating an Aeon. Such a grand feat deserved the highest specification of treatment from the Corporation. One could only say it was fortunate that Herta was involved; it made the IPC feel naturally closer to the project than any other faction.
Diamond looked at the dozens of Giants of Light appearing in front of the fleet and clicked his tongue inwardly. In just one day, so many giants had already gathered.
"Department Head?"
"I'm going to go talk to them."
Diamond rose from his main seat, deciding to personally meet these giants.
Elsewhere, the Herta Space Station and the Blue Planet had completely exploded with excitement.

Though they didn't know who Baiming was, the Acting Station Master, AI Herta, stated that Baiming was a person personally recognized by Madam Herta. Furthermore, Baiming had visited the station several times. Consequently, they decided to sing Baiming's praises alongside Herta's.

Acheron did a quick mental calculation and felt it was about time for Baiming's appearance-change cycle. She came out to connect to the Interastral Network to check for any major news. Then, she saw the IPC headline.
"She actually succeeded."
Acheron looked at the name 'Baiming' at the very front of the list. The corners of her mouth curled up into an unconscious smile. She had truly created such an existence.
However, given the strength of the Giants of Light, if they were to die, they would likely become quite stubborn Sinners. If Baiming represented the 'Life' of a creator, Acheron felt she could be responsible for the 'Death.' It was a bit presumptuous, perhaps, but it felt like a certain tacit understanding.
With the medicine Baiming left behind, Acheron's mind was gradually becoming clearer. She found herself liking Baiming more and more.
The Xianzhou Alliance was perhaps the faction that knew this name the earliest. As soon as the name 'Baiming' appeared, they knew exactly who it was.
Back then, some people felt that Baiming used the dangerous power of the Nihility and that Teng Xiao was being reckless by letting her in without a word. Now, after seeing the latest news, those voices changed their tune entirely, praising Teng Xiao for his far-sightedness and resourcefulness.
Teng Xiao ignored these voices. He just thought to himself that he hadn't misjudged her. To lead and create such a brilliant existence... befriending Baiming had indeed been the right choice.
The high-spirited Galaxy Rangers, upon seeing the intel on the Giants of Light, felt a sense of companionship but also a slight sense of crisis. If things kept going like this, it felt like these Giants would steal all the Galaxy Rangers' work.
Of course, the Rangers were still very happy that allies like them had appeared in this universe. At the same time, they were dying of curiosity—who exactly was this Baiming? What did she do to make two geniuses willing to have their names ranked behind hers?
If these people ever found out that the 'Star-shatterer' who fought alongside them was actually Baiming, their feelings would likely be very complicated.
Having rested for a night, 'Ruan Mei' had just woken up when she saw another news report from the IPC.
One story reported that Diamond, Head of the Strategic Investment Department, had personally rushed to the front lines of the Tarrak Federation. He had close contact with the Giants of Light, negotiated the future of the Federation in a friendly manner, and publicly supported the Giants' actions.
The other news was the official name of the new Path. After Diamond's communication with the Giants, it was formally determined:
'Hope.'
Supposedly, this was the temporary name decided after serious consultation with the Giants of Light. According to the IPC headline, the Giants believed that while the title 'Miracle' sounded cooler, it was too lofty.
The Giants of Light should not be high and mighty, nor should Light be aloof. Instead, it should be a 'common sense' that rises every morning. It should be the daily routine where everyone, regardless of status, can bathe equally in the sunlight...
There were too many specific statements; 'Ruan Mei' didn't know which were original quotes and which were the result of editorial polishing. Some of the speeches clearly smelled of exaggerated hype.
Nonetheless, she read through the entire report with great interest. She felt a sense of satisfaction similar to a parent seeing their child succeed in the news. It was quite fun.
After finishing the news, 'Ruan Mei' looked at her panel.
It was time to draw a card! She hoped for a "Normal Difficulty" one this time, so she could just lie back and relax.
