THUN DA DA CRA!

A serious of hard blows could be heard a long distance away, against a mountain that was receiving a beating from either an unexpected, or expected, source.

Adam, standing before the base of a tall mountain, training, or trying to at the very least, with some mix between mid and good results.

He but simply woke up one morning in his room in the wooden cabin, had cooked up breakfast…and decided to spend his day punching away at the closest mountain.

He thought he could turn off traits and abilities that would make increasing his physical might harder—as he could apparently do—but then he realized…he didn't really have anything like that.

Melee Macchiato was the closest thing, and it was a item, a drink, that he had to take in, another was Hanma, but that actually allowed him to slowly work on his Master Hand-To-Hand Combat and his base stats.

Which was not easy.

Currently he was deep in his man-made cave, much like the art room he created a months ago, throwing punches, elbows, and a occasional kick and knee, there was even a headbutt now and again.

Shoebody mainly being the reason this was possible.

But his body…it was amazing, but it was ironically also making it hard for him to grow stronger, needing more pressure than what would have been needed for a modern human.

Pushups and sit ups meant nothing, nor did running since by the time he would have felt even slightly winded, hours have gone by.

So he went with a…overkill option.

He was going to punch through a mountain, and just keep going non stop.

First ten minutes in, he was good, slowly chipping away at the wall that he was landing blow after blow with hands and feet that were no different from high caliber weapons from a incredible blacksmith.

Mithril Skeleton and Thick Skin skin, layered on top of his Primordial Human Body made sure his durability didn't damage his hands if he somehow damaged them past the sheer skill his martial arts granted him.

Ding! Punch a stone wall of a relatively large mountain for 20 minutes straight! Get a Silver Trait Ticket!

[Magic Well]

Elite Trait

You have an abnormally large pool of energy you can access, allowing you to use abilities and spells for far longer.

…well ain't that something, maybe he can try to learn magic later, as suddenly he felt a large pile of "something" make itself known to him.

It was warm and fuzzy, it felt wistful and unrefined like a sand that was actually made out of gas.

He could feel something else too, after going past the feat's time by several folds, how his shoulders, arms, and hands shifted ever so slightly, adjusting micro amounts to better land a fist.

He understood the fact that as he got used to landed fist after fist against a inanimate object, that his footing and stance adjusted to better hold his balance.

Iron Mind and Adept Discipline showing their worth as he pushed past the pain with ease, ignored the exhaustion he started to feel after reached a new threshold.

Ding! Punched a tunnel into a mountain for a hour straight! Get a Silver Trait Ticket!

[Introspection]

Common Trait

You are very well aware of how you are. You know when you are affected by what effects, when you are poisoned, when you are feeling ill or uncomfortable. Nothing about you escapes your attention.

…Now with Introspection, he could keep an extra eye on his body just in case he was on a verge of something bad, afterall he could not be sure just powerful his body was.

Lilith was getting close…he could feel it, while he was faster and stronger, and skill-wise he was indeed was still slightly ahead of the curve…he was reaching the limits of Intermediate Polearm Mastery, while she was rapidly catching up.

Sure, if he actually bothered to switch to his hand to hand skills,…there is literally no chance for her to reach him anytime soon.

But that wouldn't be fair, even if he was seriously struggling to not let any one of her blows hit, he issued her a challenge…and he wanted to keep to the spirit of it.

Becuase at that point, to himself at the very least, he may as well have spoken a direct lie, and if at all possible…he would want to be as honest as possible.

Ding! Punch for Six Hours Straight into a mountain! Get a Advantage Silver Trait Ticket!

[Strong]

Common Trait

You were always pretty strong, granting you slightly increased strength, allowing you to exert more force with your body.

Or

[Restful]

Uncommon Trait

"Nap time." Your energy and health recover faster when you are sleeping.

Decision to be made…he chose Strong as he already had several energy efficiency traits to go around, but immediately turned the trait off.

But anyway back on topic… in a matter of time…sooner rather than later, with the rate she was improving in, be it by pure luck, tricks, or tactic…she is going to land a blow.

So he needed to prepare all three of them humans for whatever may be in the outside world…Samuel was probably fine, he was an angel, apparently a Seraphim, from what he could understand…he should be pretty strong, and be able to handle anything from the outside world.

So he simply kept pushing, and pushing, and pushing as sweat dropped down from his brow. Long after getting a mile deep into pure stone matter of the landscape. Long after he has stopped seeing the light coming from behind him.

Which in of itself was good, as while uncomfortable for a while it was, he got a hang of punching in the dark, even if it was but purely a unmoving target.

It was actually a little funny, this went really against the Air Bending martial arts that the bending was based on, and the philosophy to which the mindset followed.

Krav Maga hasn't been particularly useful for a long time, so he was forced to use the power of "basic punch real good" with master hand to hand to handle the hurdle of not hurting himself as he carved his way through the mountain.

He thanked the fact he did not actually need to breath thanks to Breathless as eventually that would have been a concern, he could barely feel the lingering feeling of feint hunger, pain, and exhaustion from both sleep and Exertion that he easily pushed aside.

He did have a forethought earlier to say to his friends that he would probably not be back till tomorrow, not with the plan he had to do this.

At some point, through newly acquired Introspection he realized that his knuckles were finally becoming bloodied, finally breaking through his unnaturally durable skin.

But he kept at it…becuase he now knew his limits a bit better…and the fact that Mithril Skeleton should still hold on.

He was by then surrounded by complete darkness, he had no doubts that he at the very least made it into the night.

Casting aside boredom for dedication, he briefly considered using Agility, before deciding against it, this was not about speed…but keeping pace and endurance.

He would be patient, as he already had, his fists and feet shotting like shot guns, blowing off into a trail of stone that he was leaving behind in his wake.

Soaking wet from sweat that no thought stuck his hair to his head, though he had no other clothing, so it wasn't that much of a uncomfortable feeling.

Until Eventually….

Another blow, among others in the millions, once more landed on the wall, cracking it open that revealed…a light

…He broke through

He stopped, waking up from a trance he found himself in in the pattern and rhythm he repeated over and over…

Ding! You have "dug" through a Mountain! Get a Gold Ticket!

[Rule 63]

Rare Trait

"Where Banana?" Reality across all of existence has been twisted, warped, retconned and remade to make some men women. Or women men.

….um what?

————————————————————

Samuel was eating his morning breakfast, rations stored up by Adam after he had gone out for a day for his "Training Trip" up in the mountains.

Around the table was Lilith and Eve who were both in a middle of a conversations over whether a Hyena or a Lion was better.

Personally he liked them both about the same, so he let the girls decide amongst themselves, though he was slightly biased for Hyenas becuase of his darling.

All of them very much in their "pajamas" that Adam made for each of them alongside their own personal rooms in the giant cabin.

Suddenly a thought struck him, he stopped chewing, humming to himself, and for whatever reason he liked the idea more and more as he pondered over and over-fixated on it.

Suddenly he was on the table, as he dramatically pointed to the ceiling, "I have decided!" Startling both of the girls over the sudden action.

"I AM GOING TO BE A WOMAN FOR A DAY! Until Adam gets back at the very least!"

…The two ignored him—filing it away as Samael's flight of fancy/boredom—and went back to his conversation as the angel transformed into his new and temporary form.

(The trait will never be spoken of again lol)

[Speak of the Devil]

Elite Trait

-And they shall appear. You become instantly aware of the location of someone in relation to you whenever they say your name while intending you. You are able to sense their location for around 5 minutes when they speak your name like a GPS, and can use them for anchors for stuff like teleportation abilities or Curses.

Or

[Gravelord Servant]

Rare Trait

Dark Souls - You are a Gravelord Servant, a servant of Nito, the first of the dead. As a Gravelord Servant, you possess increased energy reserves, and the power of your Necromancy and Soul-based abilities is increased. You possess a greater affinity towards undead, and wild undead without minds do not consider you enemies unless provoked.

Ding! [Speak of the Devil] has been selected!

…If a loved one needs him, he wants to be able to hear them, while the latter sounds nice, he currently has no use for extra mana, nor did he have any magic that would probably frowned upon…and as far as he was aware no wandering dead.

He apparently did it for an entire day too. He felt…really great actually, accomplished as he felt no little amount of pride over what he just did…even if that same amount of pride was being calmly dissipating away into his subconsciousness.

He could clearly see the red blood on his fists and knees…both new and dried, he is going to have to cover them up, he knew he literally couldn't get infected while in Eden, but he really should anyway.

At the very least not to scare Eve.

…Did he even want a repeat? He could feel the strain, the speed of his racing heart, and the groaning of his softly trembling body.

He will think of a less extreme method to train, but at the very least he got some new rewards out of this.

….Or he can keep going. Adam slowly looked down to his bloodied hands, blankly staring at them…and clenched them.
