"Oh Rosie!"
"Why hello Alastah darling. Would you join me foa a cup of tea?"
"I'd be delighted!"
"Please, sit down. I will go get the tea."
"No rush dear."
Alistor sits down at a black wrought iron table with a wrought iron chair while Rosie fetches the tea.
"Hea ya go, darlin'."
"Delightful! Thank you Rosie."
"So, how ah you doin'? How ah things at that hotel of yahs?"
"Just peachy dear. How are things in Cannibal town?"
"I can't complain. You know how it goes. Anotha day in hell, haha. So, what can I does foa ya?"
"I have a little... problem."
"Oh? Tell me moah. You know how much I love a good spill."
"Hmm. You'll enjoy this. Does the name Miles Twilight ring a bell."
"Oh deah. Is he back?"
"Not quite. His daughter is staying at the hotel, though. Just arrived fresh today."
"Oh my. How's she adjustin'?"
"She's good, I suppose. She doesn't seem to get along with anyone, which isn't surprising. Miles hates everyone."
"Yuh not wrong about that. He nealy made you double dead all those yeas ago."
"Ahaha don't remind me."
Alistor takes a sip of his tea
"I wondah why she's heea."
"That's a very good question, Rosie. There is also one more thing."
"What is it?"
Alistor wraps his hands around his cup and pauses for a moment, reflecting on how to put his words.
"She can manipulate hell fire."
"Oh yah don't say! How interestin. You said she's only been heea for a day?"
"Yes. Yet she is showing signs of already being very powerful. Rosie, I need to stop her and I need your help."
"Whadaya need me foa?"
"I need you to become close to her. Make her feel like she can trust someone here. You are one of the most charming people I know next to me. After I saw how you handled Charlie and made her feel comfortable, I have no doubt that you could manipulate Miss Solei. Maybe then, she'll start to trust others. I feel that she is already onto me and my plans. I need her to feel vulnerable before she trusts me. Can you do this, for me?"
"Alastah....ah you forgettin' who ya talkin to? What's in it fah me?"
"If she dies, I'll let you have the first bite. We also both hate her dad, remember?"
"Oh Alastah, it's a deal!"
"Wonderful! I couldn't do this without you, Rosie. By the way, have you heard from Miles at all?"
"No, I haven't hed a thing. Weid that his daughtah shows up out of the blue and he's no'whe to be found."
"Interesting. I do wonder where that horse riding idiot is now. Probably out playing a little game of war somewhere on earth."
"You know Miles. He's probly out destroying some civilization somewhe. You know the hosman have a very important role, bringin' about divine judgement and all that jazz."
"That's why I need to destroy his daughter. She's already too powerful. I need to show her who the most powerful sinner is here and I can't do that without you, Rosie."
"This will be very interestin', but it will also be had. What's yoh plan, Alistah?"
"I will try my best to warm up to her. Show her around. Make her feel comfortable. I can bring her to you as soon as tomorrow and you two can have a little chat. Make her trust you. Convince her to stay at the hotel. She can not leave the hotel in order for the plan to work. Make her trust you and convince her that she can trust others and to stay. If we can do that, this plan will be foolproof."
"I like yoh thinkin'. I do have one question though...what if daddy shows up?"
"Leave that to me."
"Yah not goin' to end up almost double dead...or wose, double dead, ah you?"
"It's all in the plans, my dear. You trust me, right?"
"You usually don't make the same mistake twice, so shoa. I trust you have moah of a plan this time."
"Splendid! This is going to be so very fun. I haven't experienced this much joy since the first World War. So much....bloodshed. She's going to be sorry she ever stepped foot here. Well, I have a lot of planning to do. Thank you for listening to my little scuttlebutt. I will see you soon my dear."
"Alistah?"
"Yes Rosie?"
"Be cahful, ok?"
"Of course! I will see you tomorrow along with Solei. au revoir darling. Until tomorrow.
~Back at the Hotel~
"Where in the hell have you been?" Grunts Husk.
"Oh Husker, you're so funny. I've been in hell, of course!"
"Haha very funny. You do know we have a new guest and it was kind of rude of you to walk out so briskly. What's your deal?"
"Oh Husker, you know that I am a very busy man and have more important things to do besides stay at the hotel all day. You should try it sometime...oh that's right, you're kind of stuck here. My bad."
Husk grunts and rolls his eyes.
"I am actually going to go check on our guest right now. Make sure she's comfortable and that she's enjoying her stay.
"Don't do anything too stupid."
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
Alastor walks over to Husk and towers over him in his demon form
"If you tell me what to do again, I will tear apart your soul and it will be slow and painful and I will have fun doing it. Understood?"
"Y....yes. Sorry boss."
"Splendid! Have a good night."
Alastor walks up the stairs and sees that Solei's door is slightly open and that a faint light is shining into the hallway. He can see that Solei is still awake. Alastor takes a deep breath and gently knocks on her door.
