It's been quite the year so far. I'm baffled that it's already the winter season… It was like yesterday when it was nice and warm. I was contemplating to myself whether I'd spend my summer doing what I wanted or not.. And now I'm here, 6 months later, living with a friend whom I have learned to be pretty comfortable around, planning what to do for the winter break in a week.
"Kea! Come over here, I found something pretty cool!" Nil said excitedly.
"Mhm, ok."
I walked over to where she was observing. The moment I looked over at what she was looking at, she jumped, startling me a little.
"Hehehehe, there was nothing there!" She teased.
I swear she's getting bolder with her teasing.
*bvvt* My phone buzzed in my pocket.
"Hold on a minute, I have a call to take," I said, pulling my phone.
"Hello?" I asked, a hint of hesitance still tied down to my voice's tone.
Ok! Kea doesn't get phone calls often, I wonder what this one's about!
"Wait, Nil… I'll be a bit… Don't bother waiting for me if you have anything planned." He walked into his room, closing the door silently.
