A chain of notifications echoed in Luffy's mind, and his expression finally loosened into a liberated smile.
Finally. It's done.
If this kept going, he wouldn't even make it to the "sharing a bed with the beauty" part before the whole harem turned into a battlefield.
He subconsciously glanced toward the tightly closed cabin door and sighed inwardly.
Before winning her over, he'd have to coax her like crazy.
Sigh…
Kaya didn't notice Luffy's troubled expression. She simply picked up the Devil Fruit and started eating it, bite after bite.
When Luffy ate his fruit, he remembered the taste being almost impossible to swallow.
Yet somehow Kaya was eating happily, like it tasted sweet.
She kept stealing shy glances at Luffy, cheeks glowing red, nibbling like a little hamster until she finished the entire fruit.
Luffy squatted in front of her, dumbfounded.
Good grief… this thing has to be fake.
"Kaya, take your time exploring your new powers. As my crewmate I have to treat everyone equally, so I'm going to give Nami one too."
Kaya nodded obediently. "Mm-hmm! Go ahead, big brother!"
Luffy blinked.
Big brother?
He stared at her in surprise, but technically it wasn't wrong — both were the same age, and his birthday was in May, hers in August.
So calling him "big brother" made sense…
Except—
Something about the tone was way too seductive.
He walked to the closed cabin.
Inside, Nami was curled up in the corner of the kitchen, secretly drinking.
"Come on, Nami, it's not that serious. I only gave Kaya hers because her body was weak. You don't have to be jealous."
Hearing that, Nami froze mid-breath and angrily turned her head away.
But the moment Luffy took out another Devil Fruit, she crumbled.
"Y–y-you still have another one!?"
When he brought the fruit right in front of her, Nami stared wide-eyed, disbelief flooding her face.
Luffy chuckled and rubbed her hair. "What do you mean 'you still have one'? If I gave one to Kaya but not to my wife, wouldn't you ignore me forever? I'd cry myself to death."
Snap.
Nami's face went bright red. She shot him a fierce glare and hurriedly turned away.
"Who's your wife? Don't talk nonsense!"
"Oh? Since you don't want the title, then I guess I won't give you the fruit~"
"You bastard—don't you dare!"
Nami snatched the "cloud-patterned" fruit from his hand and glared at him furiously.
He had kissed her, touched her, done everything — why shouldn't she take it?
"It's worth one hundred million berries though… maybe we should sell it instead?"
Luffy actually laughed. "If you don't want it, then give it back. Power like this can't be measured in money."
Nami's heart bled from the thought of losing that much value, but eventually she forced herself to take a bite.
"Ugh—"
Her whole face turned green. She gagged hard. "Are you sure this thing is edible?! It's disgusting!"
Outside, Kaya was having a delayed reaction too, gulping down water just to recover.
Seeing Nami's refusal, Luffy's anticipation surged.
If Nami ate the fruit, then he would also be able to fuse with all of her present and future power.
But where's the system notification?
Luffy frowned and told her firmly, "No. You have to eat the whole thing."
"What?! There's no way I can finish this!"
Nami stood with her hands on her hips, glaring right back.
But Luffy didn't budge. "One bite won't trigger the full effect. Listen to me — finish it."
"…Then I'm not eating it alone."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Share the pain! You said so yourself!"
Nami's eyes gleamed mischievously as she lunged forward — a goddess turned predator.
She took a big bite, swallowed the pulp, and with fruit juice still in her mouth, she pressed her lips hard onto Luffy's.
This woman—she was force-feeding him!
She wasn't playing fair at all!
Luffy's face turned green, but Nami held him too tightly to escape. If he struggled, he might hurt her, so he could only let her continue.
Before long, with Luffy's "cooperation," Nami proudly finished the Thunder-Cloud Fruit.
As expected—
When she kissed him, it had tasted sweet, perfectly balancing the bitterness.
Feeling much better after finishing the fruit, Nami stepped outside — only to see Kaya standing cheerfully on her feet.
Kaya rushed over the moment she spotted them, completely ignoring Nami's glare, and happily threw herself into Luffy's arms.
"Thank you, Luffy! I'm really all better!"
"Alright, alright. As long as you're healed."
Luffy gently helped her back, then cleared his throat and explained each of their abilities.
Within seconds, both girls were staring wide-eyed.
Nami was stunned. "I can turn into thunderclouds…?"
Kaya, baffled, "And I can heal infinitely…?"
Luffy nodded. "Yep. What you two can do — I can also do."
Both girls: "HUH!?"
