Ruku (thinking):
I didn't lose control… it felt like something inside me WANTED out.

"Ruku… what the hell was that power?"

"Quiet."

Scan begins. Blue energy flows around him… but then gets sucked into his VEINS instead of reading him.

It'll hide your Aether signature… for now."

Unknown Voice:
"At last… you awaken, child of the Rift."

The crack in the pendant glows bright white.
Narration:
