When The Hokage got informed of Naruto's latest retrievel of the Five-elements Basic E-rank jutsu he was pretty surprised , With the way The Hokage pushed the wind and directed Naruto to focus on Chakra-Control and Naruto's dedication and perservence.
Naruto should only be interested in these after a year but it seems like having 'Friends' with the last years students and the boring training also wavered him.
