We arrived at the lake. I was wondering what was here when Shara used magic towards the lake.
Soon, I felt something approaching from the water. Its identity was a mermaid with a fish tail, a human upper body, and uniquely shaped ears that looked like they had water wings.
"Oh, I saw the magic and came over, is that you, Shara? It's been a while."
"Yeah. Nice to see you, Tori. I came to see Marinna, could you call her?"
"Ah, wait a sec."
The mermaid named Tori didn't seem to be doing anything in particular. She was just blankly staring at the sky.
"Okay, she's coming soon. She said to wait just five minutes."
"Thanks."
"But who are the people behind you?"
"They are benefactors who saved our village when it was in danger."
"Oh? I thought humans were all trash, but it turns out there are some good ones too?"
"Haha... Terry, don't mind her. She's not a bad kid,"
