Ren Kai floated above what remained of the shattered multiverse.
"So… this is all that remains," he murmured.
Even the beings that existed outside tiers, outside the sea, outside scales and concepts, trembled before his presence. They tried to approach—but before a step was taken, they vanished without a trace, their powers meaningless.
Aria gasped:
"Ren Kai… even they… even the ones beyond everything… can't… they can't touch you."
Ren Kai's mother whispered, almost in awe:
"My child… he has surpassed… everything we knew…"
And with that, Ren Kai turned his gaze upon the void itself, the space beyond reality, beyond fiction, beyond author, beyond creator.
"If all things fear me, then even beyond must answer."
