"I…heard what happened. Are you alright?"
Damian asked as soon as he entered the house. He quickly looked around to see if anything else was wrong before he moved to my side.
I immediately felt a sigh of relief escaping my mouth once I noticed his presence. My mouth opened and closed, but no sound came out.
Damian remained close before he wrapped his arms around me, and only then did I relax against his body.
"I-I am fine… alright, I am a little spooked, but it is nothing I cannot handle. I am sure it will be all fine. The security arrived before anything could really happen."
I tried to sound cheerful, but my words fell on flat ears.
Damian's annoyed expression told me that he was not in a mood to listen to any of my words.
"Fuck… this is a big issue. I will have to investigate my whole security team. Who let someone this dangerous slip in? Was it an accident? Likely not…"
