I straightened my back as I walked behind Damian. The collar around my neck felt snug, reminding me of the role I was to play today.


Somehow, none of what was happening felt real to me, and my head spun. But Damian's hand on my back grounded me back to reality as we walked past the first security post to the second one.


Unlike the manager before, the security stopped us this time, but they had awkward expressions on their faces.
