Chapter 60 - To Stand Together Forever

‎When he finished, Solar Clone studied their faces. All he saw there was a mix of confusion and burning curiosity.

‎He asked quietly, "Any questions?"

‎Kamal raised his hand first. "Yes, I have one. What did you mean by 'living longer'?"

‎Sanya and Neelam both nodded, eyes fixed on Solar Clone. They clearly wanted the same answer.

‎Only then did Solar Clone realise that the main body had told them cultivation made people stronger, but had never properly explained the other benefits. For a moment, he felt speechless. It seemed he really did have to educate his family from the basics.

‎He took a slow breath and spoke patiently. "You heard me correctly. With cultivation, you don't just become stronger—you can also live much longer."

‎Kamal frowned in thought. "How many years? A bit above a hundred?"

‎"Expand your imagination," Solar Clone said.

‎Kamal tried again, stretching his guess. "One hundred and fifty years?"

‎"More," Solar Clone replied.

‎"Two hundred?"

‎"More."

‎Kamal's brows twitched. Irritation slipped into his voice. "Then what, a thousand years?"

‎Solar Clone, enjoying his father's growing shock, nodded with a faint smile. "More."

‎Sanya's eyes widened. "Five thousand years?"

‎"More."

‎Neelam swallowed. "Ten thousand years?"

‎"More."

‎Solar Clone was just starting to enjoy their stunned faces when all three of them snapped at once, "Why don't you just tell us properly?"

‎Before he could answer, Sacral Clone stepped forward, voice calm but firm. "With true cultivation, it's possible to reach something close to immortality," he said.

‎"Not just living for a long time, but existing without aging, while holding power over life and death. At the peak, a single wave of your hand can decide the fate of others. A casual strike could erase a planet like Earth… and that still wouldn't be the true limit."

‎Kamal, Neelam, and Sanya fell silent, their earlier irritation washed away by awe and a faint edge of fear. As the weight of cultivation's true possibilities settled over them, Solar Clone and Sacral Clone exchanged a quiet glance.

‎If their family was truly going to walk the cultivation path and keep following the Mortal Foundation Scripture, their horizons had to be broadened. Only by genuinely yearning for that distant peak could they endure the pain, discipline, and persistence this path demanded.

‎Solar Clone and Sacral Clone spoke at the same time, their voices overlapping. "Dad, Mom, Sanya… If you want to stay by my side forever, you have to cultivate," they said.

‎ "We don't want any of our family to be left behind. We don't want to stand at the peak one day and feel sad because you're not there. So you must start cultivation—and not just cultivation. You have to practice this scripture as well, so you can keep walking the path and never fall behind."

‎They both fell silent and waited for their family's answer.

‎Kamal was the first to move. He stepped forward, fists clenched, eyes steady. "I'll practice this scripture with everything I have," he said. "I want to live as long as I can with my family. I don't want any of us to die while the others keep moving forward."

‎Neelam also took a step forward, her gaze firm despite the worry in her eyes. "I'll practice it too," she said. "If this path can keep us together and give us the strength to protect each other, then no matter how hard it is, I won't back down."

‎Even though Sanya was only nine, she understood every word. She bit her lip, then marched up beside her parents, chin raised. "I'll do it as well," she declared. "I don't want to be the weak one who gets left behind. I want to grow strong and stay with everyone forever."

‎Both clones smiled and nodded. Solar Clone said, "Good. This is the confidence I want from you. Now get ready for training. First, I'll tell you about the scripture, then we'll begin."

‎Kamal, Neelam, and Sanya straightened unconsciously, focusing on him as if a single word might decide their future.

‎Solar Clone clasped his hands behind his back. "This scripture is called the Mortal Foundation Scripture," he began.

‎"It's not a cultivation method by itself. Instead, it builds the kind of foundation that true cultivators can only dream of—body, will, habits, and mindset all tempered together. It is built on nine Mortal Laws: the Law of Iron Bones, Law of Burning Blood, Law of Still Mind, Law of Heat and Cold, Law of Wound and Healing, Law of Observing Eyes, Law of Silent Tongue, Law of Empty Stomach, and Law of Heart Vow.

‎Follow all nine, day after day, and your future cultivation speed will be terrifying."

‎Kamal, Neelam, and Sanya listened without interrupting at first, then started asking small questions—how strict the rules were, what counted as "breaking" them, whether they would still be able to live normally. Solar Clone answered each one calmly, explaining where the scripture was flexible and where it was merciless.
