The world of my hero academia is built with too much complexities when you try to take a deep thought in understanding it. For 200 years, the advent of quirks led to society in to a chaos caused by the sudden onslaught of criminals, dubbed villains, empowered by their newfound superpowers, as well as ordinary people being prejudiced against the new minority. Humans are prejudiced to themselves and has no qualms to identify differences to highlight themselves. Even in the prior world racism and various difference of human identity was a source of hatred and conflict in our society.
As chaos and unrest ensued due to the outbreak of Meta Abilities, ordinary civilians decided to take matters into their own hands to bring order to society, and thus the first "heroes" appeared in the form of vigilantes, beginning the Vigilantes Era. No matter how society fixed itself, Mr. Potato head has the power to manipulate and led society into chaos as he controls the underground which led him unknown by the common people.
As society adapted to the new status quo, the Police Force moved to prioritize leadership and to maintain the status quo, and as such, decided not to use Quirks as weapons. To fill that void, the profession of crime-fighting Quirk users, Pro Heroes, began to exist, starting in Rhode Island, USA, which caused the vigilantes to slowly disappear. Authorizing the use of powers that could so easily kill, however, was a greatly criticized decision at first, but eventually became accepted as a legitimate occupation. In addition to All Might campaign as a Symbol of Peace, crime rate starts to decline as heroes emerges with increase in enforcing strict quirk usage against vigilante to encourage legal occupation of heroes. Such immediate actions with the use of power as deterrent in a world which is a still a chick that hatch from an egg after a war will surely result on various problems including those that are unresolved from the prior war.
Hatred and discrimination against metamorphic was carried over from those who are quirkless or does not show any deformation during the advent of quirks era
In the world of strength, the hero propaganda encourage the value of strength which provide an hierarchy in a society resulting to weak or less stellar quirks being discriminated or does not warrants attention being quirkless as deemed useless.
Arising new difference to humans as a result of the advent of quirks promotes the impending prejudiced of humans to themselves and shows no qualms to identify differences will result to abnormal behavior, physical appearance and even behavioral differences being discourage or unwanted.
Strict quirk laws does not provide the common people room to breath and limiting their own personal rights to use a part of the body. Such actions will warrant lawbreakers and vigilante acts.
Advocacy for terms of heroes and villains will give rise to prejudice which connotes good and evil, black and white positive and negative actions origin of quirks and physical appearance being associates to such points.
And lastly the most important part that the hero advocacy continue to destroy is the promotion of helplessness by waiting a hero for any action to be taken and discouraging kindness, empathy and courage that was the building point of a human society
The ongoing list of problems does not have any immediate solution even future knowledge will not be helpful in destroying the root cause and can only provide aid for the betterment of the society. It takes time and effort to build a society changing the attitude of the league of villains is only a temporary solution the result of the war at the end of MHA was a wake up call to it's people. I always hate the term for the greater good that was shown in the character of Albus Dumbledore in manipulation of events in the life of Harry Potter that cost the lives of both muggles and wizardkind to defeat the dark lord Voldemort, until I was the one who has the power to wield it. The result of the war, the destruction and lost of lives are the necessary sacrifice for the greater good of the society and that will leave a stringent taste like a bitter pill that is hard to swallow.
As I train my quirk, while contemplating and arriving to a conclusion that silence is the proper answer right now. No need for unwanted attention I am still weak to protect myself even my family. I am not a hero that make a change in a world nor a martyr willingly sacrifice his life for the others. I am just me, who use my power to protect myself and my family. As I concentrate to the task of conjuring a large cloth it still difficult to add properties to make it to an object that I want. I need to sleep now since tomorrow is the first day of my class as a grade school.
As I enter the kitchen, Dad and mom has a smile on their face upon seeing the nostalgia when they were students. White sleeves and blue stripe necktie with beige blazers paired with beige short match with socks and black shoes and a hat. Upon leaving the house, normally it takes a light walk and a train for me to arrive in the campus but my mother or father will drive me which is contrary to Japanese culture maybe due to concern of villains and this is world of quirk such traditions didn't occur or maybe lost. Upon entering the campus, I hug my parents and went to the designated classroom which is quite large for few children well the atmosphere in the campus shows this is a prestigious school with legacy. Upon sitting a chair I try to relax by reading a nonfiction novel. My concentration was suddenly diminished when someone tap me and ask if what am I reading and if that book is a required curriculum. I look who was it, I saw a boy with short deep navy blue hair and eyes with arrow like eyebrows and rectangular lens glasses, he build is quite sturdy that shows prim and confidence. Ah! Isn't it the robot of class 1A. I reply to him with a no, just reading to calm myself. He suddenly introduced himself as Ida Tenya with the usual robotic hands which I replied "Hello, I'm Kazehaya Sora, nice to meet you! Just the casual greeting which he replies"nice meeting you too!" The teacher arrives and start the class, the environment here of the class is quite different to my expectations, no too loud noise and shouting which is normal to some kids who just share stories and having a normal conversation. Well this is a prestigious school which I was expecting and each member of this class has been taught to have a proper behavior specially in public places if such accident happens I'm 100% sure Ida Tenya will be the one who will take in charge with it. As I attend my class everyday, my classmates, teachers and even the students around here isn't what I'm hoping for but not hopeless quite nothing special but not too bad. So quite ordinary in this quirk world which a kind of special in its own way.
Hanging out with with Ida Tenya is what you expect it as to be, more on academic with casual conversation and the usual questioning which he shows with curiosity or when it is unusual to his own rule. It's quite good since I'm a quiet person who once strive for excellence hence I can't change it and I'm fine with Ida's personality. He ask question when he is curious, concern or worse assumption is your making something that may break the order of the class but the good thing is he apologize if he knows he is wrong. Quite special if you ask me, owing what you did is wrong and it's not an easy task either to a child or an adult. It's part of growing up and learning.
Days, months then a year passed, I was few months turning 8 years old and currently were having a barbeque party in Tenya's house. We're quite comfortable using our first name since we're friends and our parents hangout if there are any celebrations which starts when they see that we are quite close friends. Tensei nii-san came after his usual patrol and saw us. Me and Tenya greets him and ask how the patrol which seems as usual. Just as the conversation goes on I was kind of curious why he wants to work as a hero, as Tensei hears it he knows that I'm quite different to the other children who praise and want to be a hero someday which even the serious and robotic Tenya shows a childlike expression specially when he tells me how he look up to his parents and his brother which is a pro hero Ingenium. Tensei simply said that carrying the name of a hero and knowing that my work is able to help other people already makes him happy. i don't have any special talents even my sidekicks know this but working with them makes me want to work hard too as thanks to support that they gave me. I'm quite surprised to the simplicity of his answer but you can tell that he is honest and carry a great pride when talking about his teammates. Then Tenya said that he wants to be a hero too can you give me any future references and why did you decide to be a hero with his usual hand gestures which Tensei tease him with are you a robot. Well our grandparents and parents are all heroes so everyone is expecting me to follow their path but for me it is really simple. I think someone can help a lost child when they see one is the coolest person. Immediately Tenya ask why he didn't work at the lost child department which makes me laugh. Tenya's straightforwardness and bluntness lives up to it's expectation while Tensei face has a faint blush because of Tenya's response and said try to understand what I said seriously are you a robot. 🤖 🤖 🤖. We are enjoying the feast then suddenly my a news that surprise and startle me enter my ears while everyone have casual conversation to each other.
