Chapter 36 - Not Much Time

(Ellion's POV)

"I don't think I can mess around now." I said as I was sitting down on the couch, a scowl on my face, "The King has his eyes on me now."

I was with Genna, sitting down in a couch inside her chambers. I was still processing what the King was telling me. If I were to refuse Aerys, it would cause me a headache, to say the least. The last thing I want is for someone like him to on my ass, bothering me.

I am going to humor him this time, at least. But before that, I need to finish up what I had planned to do. And that is to fuck Lady Cassana, considering that I was already riled up about that. The second part of the party is tonight, so I best be prepared for that.

Genna looked at me, "King Aerys?" She asked, "What did he say?"

"He knew Old Lyonel." I said as I looked at her, "Did you know that he was a Knight that served House Targaryen?"

She looked away, "I...." She said, "I did not think you would want to know."

I narrowed my eyes, "You did, didn't you?" I said, "And you didn't think to tell me?"

She sighed, "I didn't know him personally, Ellion." She said, "But my Husband mentioned that he did not want his personal affiliation to the King to be known to you. So I kept my word that I would not say anything. I was not going to try my best in hiding it, obviously, you were bound to find out sooner or later."

I leaned back, "Hm...."

"I am sorry, Ellion." She said as she scooted over to me, "I really do feel bad about that. But the truth is, Old Lyonel's affiliation with House Targaryen does not affect you."

"Well, you're right about that." I said, "But it would've been nice to know about it, though. But it doesn't matter now. Old Lyonel is dead and I am here. Aerys said that he wouldn't agree with what I am doing, which is not something I wanted to hear."

"The King wants you to go with him, right?" She asked me, "He's interested in you. This is good, Ellion. You can rise up. You were knighted by King Aerys himself; he is clearly interested in what you have to offer. If you can prove yourself useful, you will be able to become something. You are capable of rising above being just a bastard, Ellion. This is a good thing."

"By being the King's dog?" I asked as she rubbed my chest, "Hell no."

"Do not say that." She said as she leaned in, "My beautiful boy, don't be like that. This is a good opportunity to become something more than what you are. Being a Knight is the first step, think about the freedom you'll be able to have by being Aerys's Knight. He is the King, his word is law. Being stuck by my side won't be what you'll want for the rest of your life, is it?"

I looked at her, "If I get to fuck you, that wouldn't be so bad." I said with a slight smirk, "Such a beautiful woman."

She patted my cheek, "Don't flatter me." She said, "The last thing I want is for Tywin to be constantly on you, trying to get rid of you. It is the best thing for you to go with Aerys."

I sighed, "If you say so." I said, "But before I do that, I really want to fuck Lady Cassana. Do you think she'll be up for it?"

"She was taken aback at first." She said with a smile, running her hand down my stomach, "But I think tonight is the night you can convince her."

"Hm....." I said, "Good."

"I can't wait."

*******************

"Oh." I said as I walked out and felt something bump into my leg, "What's this?"

I looked down to see the young Tyrion had stumbled back and rubbed his forehead.

"Ow....." He said

I crouched down, "Sorry, Little Lord." I said, rubbing his forehead, "Are you alright?"

He blinked, "Y-Yes...."

"Tyrion, what are you doing?" I heard someone call out

I looked up to see a young blonde boy making his way towards us. He looked just like Lady Joanna, his green eyes piercing me as he approached us.

It was without a doubt Jaime Lannister, who was currently 10 years of age. He was a future Legend in this world, one of the greatest swordsmen who would walk the land. Infamous too, in the future, dubbed as the Kingslayer and shunned behind his back.

But now, he was but a boy.

"If it isn't Lord Jaime." I straightened up as I patted the boy on the head, "It is a pleasure to meet you."

Jaime reached for Tyrion's arm, "Who are you?" He frowned, "Wait, you're that new Knight! Ser Ellion, was it?"

I nodded, "Yes."

"To defeat Ser Arthur in a joust....." He said, a glint in his eye, "That was quite impressive...."

He pulled Tyrion to his side as he looked at me, wary of my presence but not threatened by me.

"Well, I got lucky." I chuckled, "I am nowhere near Ser Arthur when it comes to being a Knight."

"Hm...." He said as he tilted his head, "What a strange-looking sword you have."

"Oh, this?" I tapped on Gloriosa's handle, "Yeah, it was specially made for me. A smith from Braavos who owed a favor to my former mentor crafted it."

"Can I see the blade, Ser?" He asked

I nodded and drew the blade, "Yes." He said, "It's not as thick as a normal longsword, but the blade is as sturdy. It allows me to swiftly cut and stab with less resistance in the air."

I don't know if that were to be true, a sword's shape wouldn't matter to me when I use Haki and the Blade of Aggression is active. It would still cut fast and sharp, no matter the thickness of the blade.

"Interesting...." He said, "One day, I wish to be a Knight! One that would rival Ser Arthur and Ser Barristan!"

I smirked slightly, "Oh don't worry." I said,

"Keep at it, and you might be just that."
