Chapter 4 - part4

On our way to Uncle Kim's house, I found out that he used to live here before. But after his divorce, he moved to Germany — and took him along. I also learned that Hanjoon and I used to be really close when we were kids.

Then why the hell don't I remember him?

Maybe... maybe that's why I used to see him in my dreams.

I had a couple of conversations with him later that evening. He was surprisingly friendly — easy to talk to, even if he didn't say much. Uncle Kim told me that Hanjoon had enrolled in my school since they'd be living here for the next two years. He also asked me to take Hanjoon with me from tomorrow.

The next day, we went to school together. Everything was fine... until I realized I'd done it again. I forgot my necktie at home.

I groaned, tugging at my bag in frustration.

"Just go ahead," I told Hanjoon. "I'll find another way in."

He raised a brow. "Another way?"

"Yeah," I smirked. "The wall."

He was way too hard to convince, but somehow, I managed to make him enter the school.

I snuck around to the back of the school, determined to climb the wall.

Halfway up, my foot slipped.

My heart dropped. I was sure I was going to die right there—

But before I hit the ground, someone caught me from behind.

I blinked, realizing I was still alive. Who is it?? On my wonder I saw that it was Hae-wool !!

He than helped me to climb the wall then he himself climbed the wall.

" You're late again?? I wonder how even a lazy student like you manage to top!!" I said.

" I also wonder how can teachers praise an indiscipline student like you!By the way who was the boy with you. I haven't seen him before." said Hae-wool.

" Owh! He is the son my father's friend. You haven't seen him before cause he used to live in Germany"

" I see!!"

The moment the tiffin bell rang, I dashed to Hanjoon's class like I was in the Olympics and gold was mine to claim.

" How was your first day? Have made any friends yet?"I asked Hanjoon.

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And guess what? I actually made two friends there! By the way... how did you even manage to climb that wall? It's so high!"

We both had our lunch together. I introduced Hanjoon to some of my friends and he introduced his to me. All of a sudden Hae-wool appeared out of nowhere .

"Hi, I'm Hae-Wool — Nabora's best friend," he said, flashing a confident smile as he offered his hand for a handshake.

"And since when we became best friends?!" I said.

"We've been best friends since childhood," Hae-Wool said, glancing at me with a smirk — his hand still outstretched toward Hanjoon.

"Hi, I'm Hanjoon. Nice to meet you," Hanjoon replied, shaking his hand politely.

I wonder why is Hae-wool behaving like this these days
