Under the Same Sky" — A Love Story
Aisha loved the night sky. Every evening, she sat on her rooftop, watching the stars shimmer like scattered diamonds. She always wondered if someone, somewhere, was looking at the same sky and hoping for the same things she did.
Miles away, Arjun—quiet, thoughtful, and forever lost in his sketchbook—visited the old lighthouse near his home every night. He drew the stars, the moon, and the soft glow of the sea. And sometimes… he drew a girl he had never met, someone he imagined might be out there dreaming like him.
One summer evening, the universe decided their stories should meet.
Aisha traveled to the seaside town for a family wedding. Feeling restless, she wandered away from the noise and found herself near the lighthouse. Arjun was already there, lost in his sketching. He didn't notice her until a warm breeze lifted the pages of his notebook, scattering them at her feet.
She laughed softly as she gathered the papers.
He looked up—and time paused.
There she was.
There he was.
Two strangers, yet somehow familiar.
"You draw beautifully," she said, handing the sketches back.
"And you… you look like someone who understands the sky," he replied, unsure why those words came out but somehow knowing they were true.
They talked for hours—about dreams, fears, stars, and secret wishes. It felt like speaking to an old friend they had loved for a long time but somehow only just found.
Before she left, Arjun pointed to the brightest star.
"Whenever you miss this place… or maybe miss me… look for that star," he said.
Aisha smiled. "I already do."
When she returned home, the nights felt different. She still sat on her rooftop, but now her heart knew someone else, far away, was looking up at the same sky—thinking of her.
And in the little lighthouse by the sea, Arjun sketched under the moonlight, a quiet smile on his face, knowing love had finally stepped into his life.
Because sometimes, love doesn't arrive with fireworks.
Sometimes… it arrives with scatter
ed sketch pages and a shared star.
