"What happened to her?!"
Cameron jumped the moment he saw me step into the room. I twisted the lock behind me and moved to the bed, laying Celina's unconscious body down carefully.
"She fainted," I said simply.
"Fainted?" he echoed. "How did that happen?"
"Yep," Varg chimed in my head before I could answer. "When she tried to press those nasty lips on him. I felt the disgust and shoved her out of the way."
Cameron glanced at me after finishing a quick check.
"She tripped," I said.
"Tripped?" His voice was thick with disbelief. "This bump on her head looks more like someone pushed her."
"Thank you for saying the truth!" Varg exclaimed. "Knox lying is irritating. He's far too good at it."
I ignored him.
"Is she going to be okay?" I asked, worry creeping in despite myself, already wondering what I'd tell Dante about his perfect sister who could do no wrong.
