We left the seer's cave with my questions unanswered. Every damned question I had about Oleander remained blank, wrapped in layers of mystery, which was strange for a common being like her.
Or maybe Bianca was doing it on purpose. Taunting me by keeping the answers just out of reach. She wanted me to beg, to be at her mercy. And the barriers she put up around herself every time I was in the cave only made it worse, because I couldn't even shake the answers out of her.
Yet Bianca was never like this before. At least not before Oleander came into the pack. She had been good. Great, even. She gave me every piece of information I sought without holding back. She did things meant for the betterment of the pack house.
She still did. Only now, when it came to Oleander, she danced around the truth and refused to reveal what she clearly knew.
