Every effort to make Dante see reason about the grave mistake he was about to make flew out the window when the mindlink came.
"My sisters have arrived, Alpha." Bianca said.
"Sweet," Dante grinned, his wicked gaze fixed on Oleander, who was still tied up. Her eyes widened with fear.
I wondered if she had heard most of what we said. I had tried to be as hushed as possible. Since she didn't know anything about our world, there was no reason to drag her into it.
Although now, I didn't think she'd be able to escape it, as Dante would reveal everything to her in the ritual except he desired to knock her out while it was happening.
Then maybe kill her when he was done, since humans weren't meant to know the supernatural world existed in the first place.
