Malachi smacked his lips and rested on the wall.
The company had to broker something to avoid a lawsuit.
It didn't surprise him at all.
"Okay." He mummed into the ohone before hanging up.
"Is anything the matter?" Dahlis questioned when he returned, squeezing his face.
"No. Isn't it too late?"
She raised her watch, saying, "It's almost 9. I'll be going once it's 9."
He looked at her. Right. He couldn't help but notice she always left places by 9pm.
"Is that a curfew you set for yourself?"
"It's the time my sons do their homeworks. I like to be around when they do." She answered, looking toward the stage when she saw Marie mount it.
"Good evening everyone, I apologize for the delay. We will now continue with our award night."
The award giving usually never dragged to nine. Everything was alwsys finalized before then.
