In the boardroom below the Communications Office floor, investors who had hundreds of millions invested in the company paced back and forth.
It had been over an hour since they arrived, yet not a single member of the Archer family had shown up. The only one present was the person handling the company's reputation.
Fifteen minutes later, the office door opened, and the familiar face of Simon Archer stepped inside.
At the sight of him, the shareholders immediately erupted into complaints.
"Where's Philip? Hasn't he seen the news? How come neither he nor his grandson is anywhere to be found?"
"I expected him to be here to talk about Ezekiel. Hasn't he done enough damage to the company already?"
"Yesterday, an entire department submitted petitions to have the staff-level expert he promoted demoted, but he actually nullified it?"
"I don't invest this much in Archer Group just to have some boy who can't tell his left from his right run it into the ground!"
