The sound of the membrane tearing still echoed in his head when he collapsed to the floor, drenched and gasping for air. The cold metal clung to his skin as if it were trying to devour him. For a moment, he couldn't move; his body was trembling too much.

When he finally managed to place a hand on the floor, his gaze fell upon the remains of the pod that had been his prison. The liquid formed a dark puddle and, among the ripples, he noticed something that made him hold his breath.

A reflection.

He leaned closer, breathing with difficulty, and saw his own face… or rather, the face of the body he had been reborn into.

White hair.

Intense eyes, almost cold.

Features he knew far too well from the anime.

"...No way…" he whispered, though his voice was barely a fragile thread.

The realization hit him with brutal force.

He had reincarnated as Code.

The same Code he remembered from Boruto.

The future monster, the Otsutsuki fanatic, the bearer of the White Karma.

His throat tightened for a second. He wanted to deny the reality, but the reflection didn't lie.

After a few seconds of silence, he took a deep breath.

He had to accept it.

Whether he liked it or not…

This body was his now.

He slowly lifted his head to observe the people in the room. Jigen stood there with his arms crossed, looking at him like a freshly manufactured product. Amado stood beside him, adjusting instruments and taking notes with that unshakeable expression of an obsessive scientist.

Near them, a small boy was breathing heavily, still recovering from his own capsule. Dark hair, a lost gaze filled with fear.

Kawaki.

Everything made sense.

Everything aligned with the period when the two vessels were being examined.

But then he saw it.

There, standing in the corner of the room, was another boy. The same age as him. Light hair. A confused expression. And the most terrifying part…

The same White Karma glowing on his hand.

His blood froze.

Who…?

Why is there another one?

In the anime, there were only two: Kawaki and Code…

That child shouldn't exist.

Not in the original story.

His thoughts were interrupted by voices ahead.

"These two failed vessels…" Jigen murmured, his tone carrying a calculated disdain. "Their bodies survived, but they aren't compatible in the way I expected."

Amado checked his tablets and sighed.

"Even so, the data is valuable. Especially that white Karma…" He glanced briefly at the protagonist, as if he had already been analyzing him long before speaking.

Jigen narrowed his eyes.

"Study both of them. I want to know exactly what that Karma can do.

The white one… might be useful."

A shiver ran down the protagonist's spine.

The Karma on his hand pulsed faintly, as if responding to Jigen's voice.

He tried to steady his breathing.

Who was that boy?
