"Will you spend your whole life as a coward? Or will you become an eternal, indestructible legend?"

Standing before the grand platform, Chen Han felt his expression shift ever so slightly.

He had heard this rousing speech hundreds of times, yet it still stirred something deep within him.

To become a Lord, to command the myriad heavens and countless realms—such things had been far beyond his imagination in his previous life.

But now…perhaps it could actually become reality.

He was a transmigrant, having arrived in this world eighteen years ago.

This was a world ruled by Cosmic Lords, an era where tens of thousands of races battled for supremacy.

Infinite dimensions, infinite planes, infinite species—colliding, warring, and plundering across the boundless Void.

The victor claimed everything. The defeated lost everything.

And the Lord was the origin of all.

Yet precisely because of this brutal environment, the world brimmed with endless possibility.

As long as one became a Lord, their future would be limitless.

Some even rose to godhood, attained immortality, and ruled over thousands of worlds—this was no mere fantasy.

Every year in mid-June, the empires of Blue Star held Awakening Ceremonies in their major cities for all citizens who had reached the age of eighteen, granting them their territories and innate Lord talents.

But becoming a true Lord was anything but easy.

After the ceremony, all newly awakened Lords were transported into the Endless Void to undergo a seven-day trial.

Each day, a wave of Void creatures would appear at random and assault the new Lord's territory.

The only goal: resist with everything they had and use the opportunity to level up and expand their domain.

If a trial proved truly impossible to withstand, they could choose to forfeit and return to Blue Star.

Even so, around twenty percent of all participants still perished during the week-long trial, never to return home.

Failing the trial meant losing the qualification to ever become a Lord.

After that, they would spend the rest of their lives clinging to survival within the domains of others—an existence no one wished to accept.

"Next, Chen Han!"

"Yes!"

Hearing his name, Chen Han finally snapped out of his thoughts.

He took a deep breath, steadied his excitement, then stepped out of the line and walked toward the magic array encircled by eight crystalline pillars.

The pillars emitted a chilling glow that curled into wisps of mist, giving the entire area the ethereal feel of a sacred dreamscape.

As Chen Han stood in the center, his body was gradually swallowed by the dense fog.

"Are you ready? Once the awakening completes, you will be transported directly into the Endless Void for your trial. No one knows when the Void creatures will attack. Those without a solid plan may want to wait and let others go first!"

Chen Han replied without hesitation, "I'm ready! No problem!"

He had come to this fantastical world—there was no way he would waste the opportunity to carve out a great destiny.

"Very well. Let us begin."

The moment the words fell, the fog around him twisted, forming a deep blue vortex centered on his body.

In the next instant—

A powerful force seeped into him. He shut his eyes tightly, enduring the overwhelming pressure.

His vision darkened. A weightless sensation seized him.

He had no idea how much time passed before he finally opened his eyes again.

He blinked, waited for his vision to clear, then glanced around and murmured, "So this is the Endless Void… What a desolate place."

The plaza where the Awakening Ceremony had been held was gone.

Before him stretched a barren wasteland shrouded in pale mist, devoid of even a scrap of greenery.

The only structures in sight were a dilapidated ten-square-meter straw hut and a circular fence with a ten-meter radius.

No matter one's wealth or origins, all new Lords began exactly the same.

Chen Han swept his gaze around and sighed."Barely three hundred square meters of land, a shabby hut, and not a single inhabitant—so every Lord really does start from scratch."

He slapped his cheeks lightly to clear his head.

Once calm, he opened his status panel.

[Name: Chen Han][Race: Human][Region: Region No. 10086 (Region name can be altered after completing the seven-day trial)][Level: Tier 1, Stage 1 (0/100)][Popularity: 1][Hero: 0/1][Construction Points: 100][Creation Crystals: 100][Territory Size: 314 m²][Lord Talent: Midnight Revelry][Region Rating: Abysmal][Items Carried: Pineapple phone ×1, Pickled vegetables ×25 packs, Dumplings ×25, Mineral water ×5L][Current Time: June 15th, 2001, 20:22 (Gregorian Calendar)]

Time flowed differently in the Endless Void.

It used its own universal metric: Void Calendar.

Chen Han had entered the array just past noon, yet it was already 8 p.m.

Nearly eight hours of the first trial day—wasted. His luck was atrocious.

But that wasn't the biggest problem.

"Midnight Revelry? What kind of ridiculous talent is that?"

He stared at the name of his Lord Talent, stunned.

Midnight Revelry—it did not sound promising.

A talent named like that could only mean trouble.

Chen Han swallowed hard, hesitated for two and a half seconds, then mustered the courage to open the details.

[Lord Talent: Midnight Revelry][Effect 1: 100% chance to summon a female Hero unit][Effect 2: Locked. Lord level insufficient.]

Chen Han's mouth twitched. He almost spat blood.

You've got to be kidding me.

What kind of talent was this?

A guaranteed female Hero? No wonder it was called Midnight Revelry.

With this kind of ability, any normal man would be suspected of… well… reveling a little too much.

"But then again… it doesn't necessarily mean I'll summon a charming beauty, right? I mean, it promises a female Hero—but it doesn't promise she'll be cute, sweet-voiced, or even humanoid!"

The thought sent cold sweat trickling down his back.

He shook his head hard, clearing away the nonsense.

Priority number one: summon a Hero and build defenses.

Otherwise, if Void creatures attacked, what could an ordinary human like him possibly do?

He turned toward the Creation Crystal Column.

Creation Crystals were the universal currency of the Endless Void—used for draws, trading, construction, production, and everything else.

Every new Lord received a starter pack of 100 crystals. More could be obtained by slaying Void creatures or plundering other territories.

But the summon pool contained not just Heroes—it included weapons, equipment, tools, skill books, defensive structures… and the chance of drawing a Hero was notoriously low, less than one percent.

Fortunately, every new Lord had one special privilege:their very first draw was guaranteed to yield a Hero.

That initial Hero's quality often determined their fate in the seven-day trial.

Please, heavens—anything but a Tiger-class Tank!

Without hesitation, Chen Han spent all 100 Crystals.

With a thunderous roar, the crystals vanished.

A brilliant meteor streaked across the sky, plunging directly into his territory.

A burst of dazzling five-colored light flooded the entire space.

When the radiance finally faded, a figure stood before him.

Her long pink hair flowed like a cascading waterfall, swaying gently with the breeze.

The corners of her lips curled into a playful, adorable smile—bright as a spring blossom.

She stood at a petite 1.5 meters tall, slender and delicate, exuding an irresistible charm.

Her facial features were exquisitely sculpted, her eyes shimmering with a soft, enchanting allure.

She wore a feather-light dress of pink and white, with a large ribbon fluttering behind her like wings.

White thigh-high stockings and red ankle boots completed her outfit, giving her an innocent, refreshing look.

A fluffy pink tail peeked out from behind her, its tip marked with a heart.

Overall, she resembled a succubus of myth—yet sweeter, more innocent, and impossibly cute.

Wait.

This was a succubus.

A loli succubus, damn it!
