Julian froze completely, slowly turning his head back, his face drained of blood: "Where did you pop out from? Why was there no sound?"
"Is it that surprising? Little bird, did you think your terrible escape route full of holes could shake me off? I could smell your scent from ten miles away."
"Is hide-and-seek fun? I already gave you time to run." Paland leaped from the tree to the ground lightly without a sound, quickly stepping toward the base of the tree where they stood.
Julian took a step back then stopped, regaining some courage: "You just cling to me and won't let go; what exactly do you want? I only cursed at you a few times, and you've already taught me a lesson, beat me up too."
Rowan looked at the pursuing Paland with a subtle gaze; sure enough, it was this vengeful Vampire Bat. The aura surrounding him was truly extraordinary; he was a strong one.
