Rowan finished processing the dwarf deer meat, making the parts they wouldn't eat right away into dried meat and hanging them up.
Glancing at the fish Owen was cooking, he frowned: "Are you sure this fish stew is edible? The soup and the fish are all green; what did you put in it?"
"I threw in a handful of wild vegetables; the vegetable juice dyed it." Owen had been lost in thought earlier and casually grabbed a handful of vegetables to throw in, not expecting it to turn out like this.
Owen scooped some up to taste: "It's edible, you try it."
"The taste is weird, don't cook it like this next time." Rowan couldn't distinguish good from bad, closing his eyes to eat and fill his stomach.
Owen nodded with a slightly guilty conscience.
Rowan noticed that lately, Owen seemed to have become very clingy and prone to sudden physical contact.
For example, right now, there was clearly nothing to do; they had eaten their fill and were resting aside.
