Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Clash of Titans: First Wave(II)

The winds whirred on the golden dusted plain, an eerie silence followed as its accompaniment.

The dark side had grown quiet.

Valkyrian was injured. The battle had to go on without him.

Tairron looked at his left coldly, a deep between his brows.

'incompetent..' he thought coldly.

A deep swipe swept across his face, he bent backwards narrowly escaping despite his previous distraction. He smiled coldly at the dragon above him.

His smile grew wider as he watched the giant wings flap about.

He suddenly let out a chilling screech. His cloak was blown off him by a bone chilling wind. His deep blue hair swiped about like living threads.

Deep black horns grew out of the sides of his head, curling and bending till his forehead was covered. His chilling eyes grew darker till they obscured his sclera.

His 190 cm tall stature suddenly expanded, his figure exceeding 50 meters. His lower body bent and twisted, growing transparent by the second. He floated high above the ground, locking horns with the dragon.

Caiser watched on coldly, his eyes not showing his inner turmoil, he roared sending shockwaves across the battlefield. 'his pride as a dragon has been challenged by an insignificant undead….such arrogance'

Caiser unleashed a burning stream from his mouth, the air suddenly rose a couple hundred degrees. The phantom screeched, his scepter waved frantically in the air sending dagger phantoms through the air at the dragon.

The daggers phased through the stream of fire latching tightly to the dragons body.

Caiser felt nothing fom the penetrating daggers.

"Vaen'shyrr… ul'narrek kaeseth" Tairron whispered under his bind. Like live carbon catenation. The daggers grew chains that strongly interlocked with each other till they connected to Tairron's scepter.

Caiser was pulled down in front of the phantom. Tairron slashed his scepter again, sending a burning dagger to the falling dragon.

Caiser let out a roar as the dagger lodged into his back. The pain made the red dragon hysterical.

He clawed at the phantom chains coiled around his figure but to no avail. He inhaled a deep breath, his fiery red eyes regaining their clarity.

He blew out steam from his nostrils as his throat rolled with fire. He breathed out dragon fire on his claws as he slashed against the daggers tearing off a few scales in the process.

The deep red scales on his back fell to the ground like meteorites smashing soldiers underneath.

The chains snapped as the daggers were dislodged from his back. His horns grew a deep red as he roared.

Fiery red swords made out of dragon fire surrounded the red dragon.

"Go"

The swords flew straight to the phantom slashing at his skin.

His scepter was held in front of him as he tried to block the incoming attack. Caiser didn't stop to watch, he flew straight at the phantom commander opening his maw to bite out of the black skinned irregularity.

His maw locked the phantoms right shoulder allowing deep blue blood to seep to the ground like rain droplets. Tairron screeched again, his eyes widening from the pain.

With a little movement, caiser ripped the arm off Tairron, throwing it miles away.

He scrunched up his face and spat out the filthy blood from his mouth.

He furrowed his brows in disgust as he stared at the wailing dark commander.

Tairron wailed in pain and furry as he hysterically waved his scepter. The giant black shiny stick glowed a deep black light as dark blue lightning arcs surrounded it.

Tairron was pissed.

He raised his head to the sky as he shouted out an ancient incantation

"Vaen'thal morraesh… nax'vyr shaal nox'keth.

Ul'serva drael in dusth for ae'kyr.

Vael'kae thyrr myr'kaesh,

shyr vaen'keth and send ul'narrek to gul'thar nox,

to serve in the maws of Kael'vor, lord of beasts"

The sky darkened, caiser's scales rose in alarm. 'that doesn't sound great'

Deep blue lightning rolled in the clouds, a deep roar resounded from the heavens like a sign of heavenly tribulation.

Caiser raised his head to the sky as he stared wide eyes at the phantom of the 'lord of beasts'.

His horns glowed a deep black as his body expanded.

"The King of beasts eeh!....." Caiser stared at his apparent doom in the eyes as he also unexpectedly chanted.

"Zar'kael Drakaryn vael'thuun.

Vaelor'kesh thyrr Vaen'kar thel'myraeth"

A dep red and black radiance shrouded his giant figure, hi horns glowed again as his scaled took on a golden sheen.

The attack flew to him like a loosened arrow.

The air sizzled, thousands were pulverized from the sheer strength of this thunderbolt.

Caiser looked defiant, his lips quirking up into a chill smile.

'Boom'

A large explosion shook the fabric of space as spatial cracks opened and closed in split second around the area of effect, Caiser was lost in the midst of the massive violet fire.

Arcs of residual lightly flashed around the area, tearing the fast healing spatial cracks open again.

Tairron watched on with a smirk, his phantom body slowly shrinking. His handsome face was paler, his lips taking on a shade of blue. The wound on his shoulder sprayed out fresh blood.

His body trembled as he swayed, his weakness clearly shown. Even if he was killed at the moment, at least he took out a commander.

Another bout of silence washed over the field. The still exploding clash of fire and thunder, the only sound in the air. The dragon legion in the sky paused as they stared wide eyed at the still revolving sphere of violet flames floating in the sky.

Seconds passed, the battlefield was still at a standstill.

Tairron had coughed up more than half his blood. His organs seemed to be corroding.

The still air began to tremble. A deep groan sounded on the field, it seemed the sphere was on the verge of another explosion.

The sphere's rotations grew faster and faster till the energy it contained could no longer be contained.

Tairron stared at the masterpiece in the sky with affection.

He would never lose.
