The policeman leading the team, about forty years old, was tall and thin.
He stepped forward, looked at Salem Thomas lying on the ground, barely alive, and then turned around and shouted, "Hurry up and call an ambulance!"
Immediately, a policeman called for an ambulance.
"Charlie Thompson, you are under arrest! Charged with suspected assault!" The policeman walked up to me and said sternly.
"Officer, you know me?" My expression remained unchanged.
"Why wouldn't I know you? We caught you in the station last time," the policeman said. "You hit so hard, you'll be sentenced to at least three years!"
After saying this, the policeman waved his hand and spoke to the officers on either side, "Take him away!"
"Move it!"
Two policemen walked me away, each holding one of my arms.
After getting in the car, the police car started heading towards the police station.
Inside the car, I sat silently, looking contemplative.
"Who could possibly be the mastermind behind all this?"
