As I stepped into the school gates, a few gazes watched from not far away.
They stood at the corner of the wall, a group of seven or eight people.
Leading them was a tall, handsome man, none other than Elio Foster.
Elio Foster stared at me, his expression extremely grim.
"Charlie Thompson..." he ground out through clenched teeth, the words seething with a trace of hatred.
"Dare to steal my woman, I'll make sure you can't stay at Apex University!"
He gritted his teeth, his face showing a sinister look.
After all, he was the student council president at Apex University, with extensive connections; dealing with such a fellow was all too easy.
"This kid sure is gutsy!"
"I've heard he's pretty wealthy too, but no matter how rich, can he compare to Baker Master Foster?"
Behind him, a few people laughed mockingly.
Then, their eyes shifted to a person on the left.
"I say, Joshua, how could you have such a capable cousin!" someone teased.
