On the sofa, Emily Davis gradually awoke.
Her beautiful eyes opened, and seeing the two people not far away, she was taken aback: "Brother? Why are you here?"
As she spoke, she furrowed her delicate brows, raised a hand to her head, only to feel a burst of headache.
"Emily, are you okay?" Wylie Davis asked hurriedly, "Did this bastard do anything to you?"
"Bastard?" Emily was taken aback again, "Brother, what are you talking about? I just got drunk, and he brought me back. Brother, what happened to your face? Did you fall?"
Wylie Davis's face turned red, and he stammered, "Yeah! I just fell outside!"
Then, looking at me, he said incredulously, "Emily, do you know him?"
"Of course I know him!"
Wylie Davis paused for a moment, and then his face grew even redder.
It turned out, he had misunderstood everything!
He rubbed his bruised cheek, looking rather sheepish.
He never expected that this guy would turn out to be Emily's friend, and not just any friend.
