"You're Charlie Thompson, right? We're detectives from the city department!"
The leading officer said in a deep voice.
This officer, named Wylie Davis, appeared to be around twenty-eight or nine years old, burly and tall, with a robust and upright face. His thick eyebrows were sharp like swords, giving him a rather handsome and manly look.
His eyes were spirited and extremely keen, as if he could see through people's hearts.
As he spoke, his gaze was fixated on me.
My expression remained calm, wearing a look of confusion, as I asked, "Detectives? I wonder what's going on?"
Wylie Davis stared at me for a moment and said, "You know Russell Bell, right? Your teacher. He's currently missing, and we suspect that something has happened to him."
"Through our investigation, we found that you had a violent altercation with Russell Bell before he went missing..."
