Chapter 14 - Helping You

"That's impossible..."

Jason Martinez seemed to go mad, shaking his backpack furiously, then suddenly, he threw it to the ground.

"It can't be missing, tell me, where on earth did you hide it?" He lifted his head, glaring at me with a ferocious expression.

I said coldly, "I said, Eldest Baker Master Martinez, you've searched me already, why keep biting on me? And why are you so certain that it was me who stole it?"

"Could it be... you deliberately framed me?" I squinted my eyes, revealing a hint of amusement.

"Charlie Thompson, don't falsely accuse me!"

Jason Martinez was a bit flustered, "Quickly tell me, where on earth did you hide it?"

"It wasn't me who stole it. Why are you asking me? Maybe you misplaced it yourself, and then remembered it wrong."

"How is that possible? I've been carrying it on me, in my pocket. It was gone right after I bumped into you. If it wasn't you, then who else could it be!"

"In your pocket? Maybe you remembered it wrong, and the item is in her bag!" I pointed at Tiffany Wilson.

Jason Martinez burst into laughter, "Impossible!"

"Oh, really? Aren't you going to check?" The last sentence was directed at Tiffany Wilson.

Tiffany hesitated for a moment but ultimately opened her bag, rummaged through it, and her pretty face changed. She exclaimed, "How could this be?" She reached into the bag and took out two boxes.

Seeing this, Jason Martinez felt like he'd been struck by lightning.

"Impossible! This is impossible, absolutely impossible. Just now, I clearly stuffed it into this backpack..."

At this point, his voice abruptly stopped.

Jason Martinez's face turned pale.

"So it was really you, Eldest Baker Master Martinez, you're quite something!" I sneered.

A sudden uproar arose around them.

After watching for so long, it turned out this guy was playing tricks.

"He looks so well-dressed, but turns out he's a scoundrel, so despicable and shameless!" The crowd murmured, casting disdainful looks at Jason Martinez.

"How could this happen..."

Jason Martinez was distraught. He couldn't understand how the boxes that were originally in his backpack ended up in Tiffany's bag?

Could it be... this guy knew from the start?

He was somewhat incredulous and even more hesitant to believe it.

"Eldest Baker Master Martinez, I never expected you to be such a person, a true wolf in sheep's clothing!" I approached, coldly looking at Jason Martinez.

Suddenly, I leaned over, whispered into Jason's ear with a cold voice, "You urged your father to get me fired, didn't you? I haven't forgotten this grudge!"

I finished and glanced at Tiffany Wilson, "Tiffany, you chose the wrong person. This guy is just a lowlife!"

Tiffany stood there, her face blank and somewhat pale.

"Charlie Thompson, you're talking nonsense! You're the lowlife. I, Jason Martinez, am a hundred times better than you. Who do you think you are, just a migrant worker, a lowly worker."

"Tiffany is my woman now. What right do you have to boss her around? Remember, she's my woman, not yours. Does a poor wretch like you deserve Tiffany?"

Jason Martinez was emotionally agitated, shouting crazily.

He rushed over, grabbed Tiffany Wilson tightly, looking at me defiantly.

"Someone like you, a poor wretch, what woman would be blind enough to fall for you? Tiffany giving up on you and choosing me was the right decision. What I can give Tiffany, can you?"

I kept a cold face, not looking at Jason but rather at Tiffany.

Tiffany remained silent, her face growing paler.

"What are you looking at, don't use your dog eyes to look at my woman." Jason Martinez's expression was nearing madness.

I glanced at the two of them, a mocking expression on my face. I squatted down, picked up the backpack, and put the items back inside.

Just as I stood up, a charming voice came from one side, "Honey, what are you doing here!"

I was taken aback, the voice felt somewhat familiar.

Following the sound, I saw a bright figure walking out from the crowd over there.

A long black jumpsuit dotted with crystals, under the light, was so dazzling, captivating. Her figure was graceful, voluptuous, extremely alluring.

The charming face was alluring, seductive, the eyes sparkling with radiance, brimming with charm.

As soon as she appeared, she attracted all the attention in the room.

Each man was dumbstruck, unable to help swallowing a mouthful of saliva.

"Wow! Snake waist, long legs, simply top-grade!" Someone muttered.

This sentence echoed the heart's voice of all the men.

Then, there was a series of muffled groans and cries of pain as each man got pinched by the woman beside him.

I was stunned there, wasn't this Jessica! What was she doing here, and also, who was she calling honey just now?

I instinctively wanted to turn around to see who else was there.

But at this moment, Jessica Jones had already walked up. She smiled charmingly, reached out her slender jade-like hand, wrapped it around my arm, leaned her body over, relying on me with a gentle and sweet demeanor.

"Honey, I've been waiting for you for so long! By the way, who are these two?" Jessica said charmingly.

At that moment, everyone around was dumbfounded, vaguely, there were countless sounds of heartbreak.

"That's the beautiful Ms. Jones! Who on earth is this kid, how did he earn the favor of the gorgeous Ms. Jones!"

"It's just unfair, the gorgeous Ms. Jones actually likes someone younger!"

Then, came a cry of lamentation.

That Jason Martinez and Tiffany Wilson, both stayed put, widened their eyes, in disbelief, watching the woman who had suddenly arrived.

She was so dazzling, beautiful, and alluring, yet also glamorous and charming.

Jason Martinez's mind went blank, his face ashen.

Impossible, this is impossible... How could this lowly guy hook up with such a beauty? Compared to her, Tiffany beside him was nothing at all.

Whether in looks, figure, or temperament, the loss was total.

Jason Martinez's whole body started shaking, jealousy almost driving him mad.

As for Tiffany Wilson, she was filled with bitterness.

Facing this woman, she actually felt a sense of inferiority.

Watching the person she once liked but then abandoned found someone ten times, a hundred times better than her, this feeling was really too frustrating.

I was stunned for a long time, my body a bit stiff.

"Jessica, what are you doing?" I lowered my voice.

"Helping you! These two are really something, aren't they? Sister Jessica saw everything; helping you to piss them off, isn't it good?"

Jessica leaned her face over, whispered in my ear.

Her red lips slightly parted, fragrant breath blown on my face, feeling a bit ticklish.

Her pair of phoenix eyes slightly squinted, looking at my profile, teasingly said, "Thompson, didn't expect you to look so good after changing clothes, making sister's heart almost flutter."

My face turned even redder.

I cleared my throat lightly, said, "These two are old classmates."

"Oh! Old classmates! But it seems like what they're saying is a bit harsh! I heard him say no woman would fancy you, his eyes are really blind! My honey is so good; how could no one like him?"

"As for this woman, she doesn't look that great either! Hmm! Too skinny, chest too small, only an A, at most a B, and the butt is also too small."

Tiffany Wilson trembled all over, her face growing paler, under the opponent's sharp gaze, she actually felt ashamed.

While Jason Martinez, his face turned uglier.

"Honey, let's not argue with them, it's beneath us! Let's go!"

With that, she wrapped her hand around my arm, walking outside.
