Grandpa Henry's expression was already dark, but the moment Jason Cross handed him the folder, everything turned pitch-black.
He opened the folder.
He read the first page.
Then—SLAM!
The old man's hand shook with rage as he threw the folder onto the floor. Papers scattered everywhere, fluttering like terrified birds. His cane struck the carpet with a heavy thud.
"Hmph! That old moore family has stretched their hands too far!" Grandpa Henry roared, beard trembling with fury. "How dare they plant someone under my nose?! Do they think the cross family is blind?!"
Lily Martins shrank her shoulders, nearly choking on air.
She had expected anger… but not earthquake-level anger.
Jason, however, remained completely calm. His dark eyes were sharp and steady as he said, "Grandpa, there's no conclusive evidence yet to prove Dora was arranged by the Moore family to infiltrate the company. But using this as the reason for her dismissal works in our favor."
