Helena's POV
Frigid air brushes against my bare skin, pulling me from the depths of sleep. My eyelids part slowly, and terror shoots through me as I find myself staring into piercing silver eyes. The wolf looms above me, its massive frame blocking out everything else. A strangled cry escapes my throat as I realize white paws press down on my shoulders, trapping me beneath its weight. I struggle desperately to free myself, but the creature's strength far exceeds mine. Panic floods my system as I reach for Aria in my mind, only to find an empty void where her presence should be.
"Be still, Moonborn." The wolf's voice resonates in my head, calm and commanding.
"Please, I beg you to release me," I whisper, my voice trembling with fear. "I pose no threat to you."
