April 4, 1492 of the Sea Circle Calendar.
After being away from Wano Country for over half a year, Kaidou finally returned to this familiar land. Above Wano Country's inland sea, a massive island was slowly moving, advancing toward Wano Country.
"Is that the legendary Wano Country?" Kuzan stood on the deck, squinting as he gazed at the gradually clear outline of the island in the distance. His tone carried a mix of complexity—both curiosity about the unknown and a hint of unease. Kuma and Ginny stood beside him, silently watching the distant land.
"Doflamingo, Rosinante, from now on this will be our new home." Homing gently stroked his two sons' hair, his voice gentle. His wife stood nearby, a soft smile on her face. This former family of Celestial Dragons was about to start a completely new life in this unfamiliar country.
Enel and his companions appeared much more excited. "We're finally back!" Enel spread his arms wide as if to embrace all of Wano Country. To them, this place had truly become their home.
"Urorororo!" Kaidou's booming laughter echoed through the skies.
Under his control, Greenbit steadily descended beside Oni Island. At the edge of Oni Island, Bullet had already been waiting for a long time with a group of subordinates.
"Long time no see, Bullet." Kaidou strode forward, his voice resonant.
"Brother Kaidou." Bullet nodded slightly, his gaze sweeping over the crowd behind Kaidou.
Noticing the unusually lively scene on Oni Island, Kaidou couldn't help but ask, "What's going on here?"
"The Fire Festival is in five days." Bullet explained.
"I see." Kaidou suddenly understood, then remarked with emotion, "Time flies so fast." He paused before asking, "The Whitebeard Pirates are still in Wano Country, right?"
"Yes, they're currently touring various places." Bullet replied.
"Send them an invitation to attend the Fire Festival." Kaidou instructed.
"Understood." Bullet nodded in acknowledgment.
Kaidou turned and pointed toward Kuzan, Kuma, and the others: "These people will be future assets. You're responsible for arranging things for them." His gaze finally settled on Ginny, who was glaring at him with clear dissatisfaction.
Bullet looked at Kuzan, Kuma and the others, his sharp eyes naturally noticing the Sea Stone chains around their necks, but he didn't comment on it.
"Kaidou! Bear Cub and I never said we'd join the Beasts Pirates!" Ginny shouted angrily, her cheeks puffed up.
Kaidou grinned widely: "Little girl, don't forget you're prisoners now. In this world, prisoners have no rights to speak of."
"You!" Ginny stamped her foot in fury, fortunately Kuma quickly pulled her back and comforted her quietly.
Kaidou then pointed toward Greenbit and continued speaking to Bullet: "The Tontatta Tribe on this island are guests I invited from outside. We'll need them for some future plans, so make sure they get whatever supplies they need."
"And they're naturally simple and trusting people who easily believe what others say, so you'll need to screen anyone coming to the island carefully."
"Yes," Bullet responded in a low voice.
Having given these instructions, Kaidou said no more. With a flicker of movement, he instantly transformed into a majestic Azure Dragon, soaring into the sky and flying toward the Flower Capital. The gale stirred by his dragon wings forced everyone on the shore to raise their hands to shield themselves.
Watching Kaidou's receding figure, the newcomers wore varied expressions.
Kuzan thoughtfully rubbed his chin, Kuma remained silent as ever, while Ginny made a face at the sky.
The Homing family stood quietly together, the two children curiously examining their unfamiliar surroundings.
Bullet stepped forward, his voice deep, "Everyone, follow me." He turned and led the group toward the interior of Oni Island.
Suddenly, a massive shadow fell over the Flower Capital of Wano Country, the previously clear sky darkening instantly.
The bustling crowds in the streets simultaneously stopped and looked up at the sky. There, circling among the clouds, was a dignified Azure Dragon, its cyan-blue scales glittering brilliantly in the sunlight. The enormous dragon's body stretched out, nearly blotting out half the sky.
"It's the King of Light! He's returned!"
"Wonderful! We finally get to see the King of Light again!"
"I heard he went to the outer seas before. Now he's finally back."
Cheers immediately rose from the streets, people's faces filled with reverence and joy.
Street vendors set down their work, merchants emerged from their shops, and even customers haggling over prices paused their transactions—everyone gazing up at the magnificent figure in the sky.
Several children ran excitedly through the streets, pointing upward and shouting loudly.
"Even though I've seen it many times, this form of the King of Light never fails to amaze me."
"Indeed, such power is truly incredible. He's truly our guardian deity."
Exclamations of awe spread through the crowd.
Meanwhile, Marco, who had been selecting oranges at a fruit stall, curled his lips and remarked sourly, "Is all this fuss really necessary? Kaidou's just a pirate when it comes down to it. There are plenty stronger than him out there." He tossed an orange carelessly in his hand as he spoke.
"What did you say?!" The stall owner flew into a rage, snatching the orange back from Marco, the wrinkles on his face deepening with anger. "How dare you compare the King of Light to ordinary pirates? Please leave! I won't sell my goods to someone like you!"
Caught off guard by the sudden expulsion, Marco blinked, but before he could react, the furious vendor had already pushed him out of the stall.
People nearby cast disapproving glances, some even muttering curses under their breath.
This scene was witnessed by Whitey Bay not far away, who couldn't help but laugh aloud. "Hahaha! Marco, serves you right!" She laughed so hard she doubled over, her long hair beneath the purple-blue skull cap swaying with her mirth.
"Gurararara!" Whitebeard Newgate also burst into hearty laughter, his booming voice echoing through the streets and drawing sidelong glances from passersby. His massive frame stood out prominently in the crowd, his white beard trembling slightly with his laughter.
Whitey Bay then walked over to Newgate and said thoughtfully, "Pops, it seems Kaidou's prestige here is even greater than we imagined."
Newgate nodded, his gaze sweeping over the cheering crowd in the streets before turning to the dragon's silhouette circling in the sky. He murmured with a sigh, "I never expected that intern who only knew how to fight and kill back then would become like this now.His voice carried a touch of nostalgia, mingled with a hint of emotion.
Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the dragon's shifting form, casting dappled shadows on the streets, as if narrating the passage of time.
