Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 Fierce Battle

The center of the island was shrouded in smoke, the heavy scent of blood lingering in the air.

After a brief standoff, the two sides finally erupted into intense conflict. The sea breeze, carrying the metallic smell of blood, swept across the faces of every warrior, as if setting the stage for the impending slaughter.

The pirates surged toward the guards' defensive line like a raging tide, their deafening battle cries echoing over the island. They brandished various weapons, their eyes gleaming with bloodlust. The guards stood ready, their spears and shields glinting coldly in the sunlight.

Nix stood at the forefront of the formation, a longsword in hand, the sunlight reflecting brilliantly off his silver-white armor. His gaze was as sharp as an eagle's, his sword tracing fierce arcs through the air.

The pirates charging at the front fell before they could even register his movements.

Each of Nix's strikes was clean and precise, showcasing his masterful swordsmanship. His movements flowed seamlessly, as if he were performing an elegant dance rather than engaging in combat.

"Interesting!" Queen laughed heartily, his eyes sparkling with excitement. He raised his rifle and fired several shots at Nix.

The bullets whistled through the air but were deftly dodged by Nix with a swift sidestep, striking sparks off the rocks behind him. Unfazed, Queen grew even more exhilarated, licking his lips as a ferocious grin spread across his face.

"Protect the prince!" the guard captain shouted, and more soldiers quickly advanced, forming a solid wall around Nix. They held their shields high, creating an impenetrable defense.

However, instead of feeling reassured, Nix frowned with displeasure. "Move now! Eliminate these pirates quickly!" His voice carried an undeniable command.

The soldiers had no choice but to shift their formation and charge at the pirates. They advanced in unison, their spears forming a forest of steel, their shields a solid wall. The pirates, undaunted, roared and met the charge head-on.

Two torrents of force collided violently at the island's center, the clashing of metal, battle cries, and screams of agony rising and falling in a chaotic symphony.

Meanwhile, the CP agents began to move. Dressed in black uniforms, they flitted through the battlefield like phantoms. Each strike landed precisely on a vital point, dispatching enemies with ruthless efficiency.

Their movements were swift and lethal, often felling opponents before they could react. The agents remained expressionless, as if merely carrying out routine duties.

Urouge swung his massive battle-axe, cutting down a soldier before directly confronting the leader of the CP group.

"Let me see the strength of the World Government's agents!" Urouge bellowed, his axe whistling through the air as he swung it at his opponent. His voice thundered across the battlefield.

"Shave!" the CP leader muttered, his form vanishing instantly, only to reappear beside Urouge in the next moment.

"Finger Pistol!" the CP leader struck like lightning, piercing several bloody holes in Urouge's right arm. Blood gushed from the wounds. Urouge grunted in pain, but the fighting spirit in his eyes burned even brighter.

"Bastard!" the injured Urouge roared in fury, his great axe sweeping horizontally with a gust of fierce wind.

"Iron Body!" With a metallic clang, the giant axe struck the CP leader as if hitting solid steel, producing a grating sound. Urouge's eyes widened, clearly not expecting his opponent to possess such a defensive technique.

On the other end of the battlefield, Sebastian and Gavin had engaged other CP agents.

Sebastian wielded dual hammers, each swing carrying immense force that pulverized any soldier who came too close. His attacks were broad and unrestrained, every strike brimming with destructive power.

"Storm Leg!" A blue-tinged white crescent-shaped shockwave suddenly shot toward him.

Sebastian snorted coldly, swinging his hammer to shatter the shockwave before charging straight at the ambusher. Battle lust burned in his eyes as his twin hammers gleamed dangerously under the sunlight.

Meanwhile, Gavin brandished dual blades with overwhelming momentum, each strike carrying thunderous force. The two long swords seemed alive in his hands, forcing the CP agent opposite him to retreat repeatedly, merely dodging the onslaught. Gavin's movements flowed like water, his blades tracing elegant arcs through the air as if possessing their own vitality.

Queen casually discarded his firearm and drew an unusually shaped long sword from his waist, engaging Nix in combat. Their weapons clashed incessantly, sparks flying as metallic impacts echoed without pause.

Queen's sword style was wild and unrestrained, each strike carrying astonishing power; Nix excelled in agility, employing unconventional techniques while constantly seeking openings in his opponent's defense.

The entire battlefield descended into chaos, with war cries and weapon clashes rising and falling continuously. Blood stained the earth, and the moans of the wounded filled the air. Yet no one retreated—each combatant fought with bloodshot eyes, as if having forgotten life and death.

Nix seized an opening in Queen's defense, twisting his blade to strike at the throat. Queen hastily leaned backward, the sword edge grazing his neck and drawing a line of blood. With a ferocious grin, he wiped away the blood, his large sword suddenly changing trajectory in a sweeping slash that forced Nix back three steps. Their battle had reached its climax.

"Mmhahaha! Never thought a mere prince from a West Blue country would possess such strength," Queen laughed loudly, his eyes gleaming with bloodlust. His laughter carried some appreciation, but more so reflected his craving for battle.

"You damn pirates, do you even know what kind of trouble you've stirred up!" Nix roared angrily, veins bulging on his forehead. He charged at Queen again, his sword techniques growing more fierce. Rage burned in Nix's eyes, every thrust carrying lethal determination.

Their duel had lasted dozens of exchanges, both their stamina declining, yet neither would show weakness. Nix's swordplay grew increasingly vicious, each strike aimed at vital points; Queen relied on his rich combat experience to narrowly evade fatal blows each time. Their battle resembled a dangerous dance, every step teetering on the edge of life and death.

Meanwhile, Urouge roared while swinging his giant axe, splitting the ground with a deep fissure that forced the CP leader back. His wounds still bled, but his fighting spirit only intensified. "Again!" he bellowed, charging at the agent once more, his giant axe carving terrifying arcs through the air.

Urouge's strength was astounding, every strike carrying overwhelming, destructive force.

The overwhelming force gradually became unbearable even for the CP leader who had undergone hellish training. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead, and his breathing grew ragged. Urouge's onslaught, relentless as a storm, left him struggling to keep up.

On the other side of the battlefield, Sebastian had already taken down two CP agents, but visible cracks had begun to form on his twin hammers.

Gavin's dual blades whirled in an impenetrable dance, forcing the two agents into steady retreat.
