Phoebe's POV
Harold and the other two burst into laughter.
Their admiration felt both genuine and over the top. But they couldn't deny it—ever since I'd come back, nobody had really managed to hurt me.
Right then, I hit the Enter key and said coolly, "Finished."
Harold and the others all turned to look. Alan asked, "Phoebe, what's finished? You've been messing with that thing since you got back. What the hell have you been doing?"
I spun my laptop screen toward everyone and pointed at a blinking red dot. "This is the signal from the latest tracker model I've picked up inside Jordan's body."
"What? There's a tracker in Jordan's body?" Lucas looked stunned. He jumped up, ready to bolt for the basement.
Alan grabbed his arm. "Chill out. Since Phoebe found the tracker in Jordan, she's probably already dealt with whoever's on the other end. Let's hear what she has to say first."
